Where do you find your most reliable sources (other than PoN of course)?


Sounds about right to me. During Munto it became very clear that the Mirror, Star etc. together with much of the local press really only copy and paste stories from each other and change a few of the words around. Once a story hits the BBC it's probably on the OS anyway.

Robin Chipperfield has been known to share breaking transfer news on Twitter, no idea if he still does.

If a message board poster called "Ray Trew" tells us we're about to sign a Premier League striker, we can safely ignore itΒ  :lol:


I'd love to see a local version done! Yet the problem with rumours, they're nothing more than that but people automatically feel it means more. Now, when you announce a signing before the OS, even that is tricky and as the club will remember (so will announcing signings before agreements are signed). This isn't a dig at Mr Trew, it's just a comment about the infamous signing on the OS which had never happened.
