When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Look at the PON royalty at the top of the table. It's a fix!  :frantics:

Decaf Skinny Lartey manager Joe Jones has praised his side's excellent start to the 2015-16 Prediction League despite being knocked off top spot by Notts Joe's Skegness Wanderers.

The 27-year-old manager claimed a reasonable five points in Matchday 5, but was overtaken at the summit by his bitter rival's eight-point haul.

Despite this setback, JJ remains more than pleased with his side's progress so far, highlighting how badly previous campaigns have started.

He told the local media outlets that weren't banned at that precise time: "In previous years we've never ever been in contention, not at the start, not at the end, not ever.

"Our start was beyond our wildest dreams, it was always going to happen that the giants of Skegness Wanderers would take their place at the top at some point or other.

"A top-four finish would be nice, but really we've just got to play it by ear and see what the next few weeks bring. One thing's for sure though - DSL fans will be in for a positive season for all the right reasons."

DSL finished all previous PL campaigns towards the foot of the table.
