This is sad no matter what way you look at it, no matter what team you support ,to see they have 2 weeks left to find 10 million .

Their supporter trust have set up a fund raising to raid 100,000 pounds to think we spent 150,000 on Izale.

I would never like to see anyone vanish out of existence and I hope they still exist in two weeks cause we play them at home.

On the face off it when people moan about Ray trew and his wife be grateful for what they have done.

Cause not everyone is fortunate as we are ,not everyone can splash 150,000 on a top striker and so on so Notthampthon a hope you get that money even though it's a lot of money

But everyone Remember always be grateful for what you have cause not others have the luxury some of us take for granted always be grateful.

Best of luck to Northampton, sad times

Is it true they owe 10 million in tax? When on earth did they last pay any tax?!? The club's top brass need to be taken to account for this. That's a stack of public money, plus it may have distorted the competition.

I wish the club and its fans all the very best though.

stadiums revenues plans loans the money just went missin which in my view someone as pocketed it and done one but still sad.

We may not be playing them 2weeks time unless 10million appears

I heard Chinese whispers that this is regarding a new stadium?

it's is a stadium revenue correct they took out loans apparently and the money has just vanished .

Players and staff haven't been paid for weeks and there is talk there players are already planning moves to clubs.

As they will be allowed on frees but can't play until January window.

Also they are struggling to play for players coaches to get to games.

The week we play them which is our next match league wise they may not even be in egxistance unless 10mill is found.

So we may either get the win or just lose a match I have no idea how they will deal it.

Someone has pocketed 10million it doesn't go missing just like that

You have to feel for the fans in this situation, they are the club, players come and go, managers and staff come and go, owners come and go but the fans by and large are there for the duration. I know how we would all feel in this situation, in fact we've been in a similar situation so I can feel a lot of empathy with them.

Poor way to end a clubs life, if it does happen. I hope it does not come to this but it appears likely!

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

you can do all the fundraising in the world but unfortunately to get 10 million that's owed back is a lot of money.

I believe they have til next Friday or even if they hold out they'd only get another Friday after that.

They could be out the league before we meet them at home so someone has gota come up with 10million

It's looking very unlikely they will survive which is sad but I'd love to know where that 10 mill did go

Northampton Borough Council are trying to get the club put into administration which would give them more time to find a buyer.

That's surely the logical thing to do. If they just go under, no one will get anything.

did I forget to mention the builders who started work on the u I fished stand are taking them to court over 3million I read.

Makes me wonder where did that money go someone's taking it on the side.

Aslong as we send em home upset about losing I'm okay it's a big ask for that much money
