American Football

I must say I've grown to really like this sport, the more I understand what's going on. Does anyone else on here share my view? Who do you support, I'm a Cheesehead, suprised that Green Basy are still in the play-offs.

I like American Football. I'm a Bears fan. Green Bay were always going to beat a very average Redskins team. They will have to improve if they are going to trouble the Cardinals this weekend. I' wouldn't bet against the Packers though.

The Yellow Sox have no chance at all against the Red Underpants. But personally I'm a Chutneymuncher myself.

Nonsense!!

Sox are better than underpants. I'll bet you a fiver on the result!

I tried watching the Super Bowl a few years back, I really had to switch off for my own sanity (I probably should point out I'm not the biggest fan of rugby). Yet, I found it to be much slower and the tactics are quite irritating at least for me. The commentators don't help, they go on about each and every aspect like it's the first game ever in the history of the sport.

That said I root for the Dallas Cowboys because I have a friend who supports them.

I've also tried betting on the sport, which I wouldn't suggest because even when you think the results in the bag - it can completely change.

The sports okay, though I much prefer Baseball (which I also tend to find boring). Hockey on the other hand, now that's a sport! ;)

I find the superbowl the most difficult gaem of the year to watch, as they drag it out too much.

not all that into american sports myself.

I'm the same.  American football, baseball and ice hockey are all a big no for me.

American football has one slightly redeeming feature in that it did give rise to some pretty good cheerleader locker room scenes in those teen flicks back in the day.  Or is that just me?

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

I'm a big Bears fan, loved it when it was on free to air every week, we are going through a transition phase at the mo, hopefully transition Jay Cutler to yourselves in exchange for Aaron Rodgers......

I've been a huge, loyal Redskins fan for around 30 years. I'm also a big,big fan of the peanuts cartoon strip by the late Charles Schultz.

When channel 4 first started showing American football the Redskins had a wide receiver called Charlie Brown, my heart was taken.

When the Cardinals first came to town they called themselves the Phoenix Cardinals, much to the disgust of the rest of the state of Arizona. Eventually they changed the name to Arizona Cardinals, but by then the damage was done. I, like the majority of Tucson residents to this day remain indifferent to the charms of the Cardinals.
