Well done Leicester City

I think the majority of fans felt Leicester City may stumble after Christmas, however they held their own and the nerves stayed. The foxes fought and have achieved a very impressive impress Premier League title claim. It look almost likely that Spurs would see them carry it over until the weekend, as Chelsea's defence looked a shambles in the first half.

Genuinely, Tottenham didn't impress me at all - they created two well taken goals but offered little else.

No doubt Leicester City deserves the title, they played for it and you don't win something like this by chance. It's earned! Did you think Leicester City would win the league near Christmas? What makes them so formidable in your opinion?

Well done Leicester City and ex Magpie Kasper!

@notts-joeΒ Just proves with the right recruitment, what can be achieved.I hadn't realised that Wes Morgan was an ex Notts player too? He was released in 2000, which may have been the time our Academy closed? Not sure if it was, which makes it an even harder decision to take

Leicester have had an amazing season, they more than matched the big boys and worked to get the title, next season I believe will be very different but for now they defiantly deserve to celebrate!

Many people (me included) couldn't imagine Leicester staying the course, it all seemed so unbelievable. It seemed inevitable that one of the big guns would put together a stonking winning run and ****** it away from them.

Massive congrats to Leicester City! A dream come true and a victory for all of football. Occasionally, when watching reports of their title push, I burst out laughing when I realised how crazy it all sounds. Leicester City? The title? Ridiculous! So just imagine how insane this must feel to lifelong fans!

5000 to 1 - what were our odds to win the FA Cup? Dagenham and Redbridge were 3000-1 to reach the final...

I'm just going to leave this here.

I think our academy closed a couple of years after that, 2004ish?Β Wes Morgan was released because he simply wasn't good enough to pull on the famous black and white stripes.

@DangerousSausage Yes you maybe right... 2004 ish. Looking back, I believe Gary Brazil was manager..though not sure who was in charge of the youth team then? I have a feeling that letting Agathise go maybe a mistake.

its good they did, it may help change the league and make it more exciting again.

well done to them all.

Well done Leicester, a fantastic achievement. let's see the excuses pouring in now from the self-appointed 'big' clubs. Noticable absence of shirts of Man City, Manure, Chelski, Arsenal etc. around town today!!

Spud fans are misrable a lot.

Any club would credit their valiant effort and wish them well. You do not win the league easily! Top 10 next season. Can they repeat this season?

Well done to Leicester and our Kasper. Makes a refreshing change from Man Ure, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal etc.
