Posted March 23, 20178 yr #1 Loachy has left us on loan to join York City until the end of the season. You can't blame him, frustrated at the lack of games, hope he proves everyone wrong and gets York out of trouble. Nice enough geezer, down to earth, friendly. Scott Loach story 1) just been hammered by Mansfield 5-0 Loachy was one of only 2 players (the other being Mike Edwards) who discussed and apologised to fans for the performance.. Scott Loach story 2) wanted leave on loan to get some regular games and come back stronger and fight for a place in the team under Sheridan, loan was refused so he stayed gave 110% when selected and still walked around the place with a smile on his face. As he's out of contract in the summer, this is probably the end of his line at Notts, farewell Loachy, hope you get regular game time somewhere and play well unless it's against Notts.
March 23, 20178 yr #2 I'm pleased to see others on Twitter who believe Loach should be our No.1 keeper. Collin has done well at times and has settled in, though I hope we sign a better replacement in the summer. He's vulnerable and I don't remotely like this, don't get me wrong I still felt Loach would need replacing. Your mostly likely right about him not returning also @TheFostarr94.
March 23, 20178 yr #3 While I like Loach a lot for his attitude and professionalism, my first choice would still be Adam Collin. It does however ask the question of who replaces Loach on the bench. The only other keeper I recall us having on the books after Pilks left is Joe Searson-Smithard from the youth team. I seem to remember him going to Radford (maybe on loan?), perhaps Piethagoram will know.
March 23, 20178 yr #4 Collin is awful. He's just a very average keeper that barely looks good enough for this division. I really do not rate him at all and I am surprised to see Loach loaned out this point, it would have made more logic to release him.
March 23, 20178 yr Author #5 @TheSkipper we do have a recall option in the deal which is probably why he hasn't been released, so should we need him we can recall him within 24hours as you just know now we've took loaned 1 of our 2 goalkeepers out Collin will get injured on Saturday haha!

It would have made no logic at all to release him, as we would have had to pay up the rest of his contract. Far better to loan him - not only will some game time be a reward for his professionalism, but I also presume that York will be paying part of his wages.
March 25, 20178 yr #7 Good Luck to Scott Loach. He's played second fiddle to Roy Carroll and now Adam Collin, it makes sense to let him play.
