Fingers crossed we can go back to full strength after this clash.

Walsall will be wanting to no doubt keep their winning record, it's for Notts to go into the game and realize that we can get points out of such games. I'm not saying Walsall are easy, although they're in the group of teams we should be looking at defeating. I still think Liddle is out and I mentioned this previously, it might be worth throwing Labadie into our defense, which would allow Sheehan to be left back and Tempest to play a role in the midfield.

We could see Tempest dropped, although I honestly feel it's harsh to say he was poor. He only struggled at times and did well to be fair, his balls into the box against the Posh were inviting.

I see the game ending up as a draw, although I hope for 3 points.

@sadlad will be no doubt hoping for a win but for me it will be nice to meet up with again or at least I hope I get to say hello again.

That's the team I'd go with.

I think we're forgetting that Liddle is eligible, he's served his suspension now right?

Ah!! my bad.

I heard something earlier which mentioned he came back into selection, although I've just checked to find an actual report of this (not just what reporter said). He's out!! At least this will be the last one.

Walsall will be full of confidence thanks to the start they've made to the season.Notts are depleted due to suspensions and have not had a very encouraging start to their league campaign. On the face of it the last thing Notts need is a game like this.Hopefully Notts can put in a good shift and restore some of their own  confidence and pick up some points. You are due some good luck,so I'm backing Notts for a close fought win.(Sorry Sadlad)

Need to kick start the season. Can't afford to come away empty handed. Time for Manny to stand up and be counted! Unfortunately I can't make this one. :)

Yes The Saddlers full of confidence at the minute. Like to play 'sexy football' whenever we can and when we get our passing game going are quite effect. Sometimes though you have to grind results out and we did that to good effect at Oldham with some stout defending.

this will make the game more enjoyable hopefully, i am unable to go but i hope those who do enjoy it.

think walsall will no doubt throw all their guns at us and its for notts to try and counter this, i just hope we can manage to get a result. :)

I hope we do well tomorrow at the match.... A win would be great as we could do with one. We are not far into the season but it would stop some of the fans from moaning about not losing until next time.

Roll on Walsall - We start here with building a good home and away run, we need the lads to be calm but confident. The game hopefully will be open and we will see good football by both sides, I just hope we get the points!!

If we lose god help us!!

Jake's ready, we're are almost out the door. Well in 29 minutes time :)

We have fans who'd moan about winning!!!

:thumbsup::shocked:

Enoch missed a sitter, Arquin shot over the bar, Dumbuya fluffed a chance and JCR wasted several half decent chances. We could have won 11-2! Why didn't we take our time, it's not good enough Notts. I didn't sit at home for nothing!!!

Notts team news: Bialkowski, Dumbuya, Sheehan, Smith, Leacock ©, Fotheringham, Labadie, McGregor, Campbell-Ryce, Showunmi, Haynes

Subs: Spiess, Bell, Coombes, Arquin, Thompson, Tempest, Boucaud

Good to see Smith back in the defence, god how we need a solid defender after Peterborough.

Nice also to see Bell on the bench those present might get their first glimpse of him, I know CK thinks he is a key player and I think he will be in the starting 11 once he is fully fit.

The officials seemed poor again.

Bell had a good game, he looks an handful.. We need to start how we finished.

I was listening on the radio and it sounds like we could and should have won the game. Arquin had a goal disallowed for offside right at the death, Notts management were very upset with the assistant referee who made the decision.

It's a good point and better still a good performance by Notts by the sound of it, Uncle Colin was particularly impressed with McGregor who had several good chances but was very unlucky not to score and also Bell when he came on was very impressive.

I'm looking forward to the match reports from people who actually went.

Pleased to see us get off the mark today, Walsall are a good side and I would have taken a draw before the game but it seems like we were robbed of the win. How is this offside? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xExW96AcsUI&feature=youtu.be

Refereeing/Linesman decision have gone against us in both games now that have had an impact on the result. It's not good enough but will anything change? No. Those officials are still paid and will be officiating somewhere else next week despite having a howler that could have big implications in the end of the season.

Sounds like we played well though. Well done Notts, lets get that first win next weekend now in front of the home fans :)
