Do you still wear a watch?

Featured Replies

I started a discussion a short while ago about if members still used and owned a PC, whilst I read that discussion and all the interesting comments made. I suddenly thought, mobile phones have literally placed most items you could ever possible think of. As I sat looking at my tablet, I looked at my watch and thought. Do people still wear this things?

Another question for PON members, do you still wear a watch?

To make it interesting why not share a picture of it below your reply? That would be different.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

I’ve only just stopped wearing my Notts County watch because I got a Fitbit for my birthday in June, the Fitbit tells the time so I don’t need the watch but i do miss it.

No, I am guilty of using my phone.

I am tempted to get a smart watch or one of those fitness type ones. Most allow for more use, which is cool and I do want to try to measure my walking etc.

A field where dreams become reality.

I have a watch, but I don't wear it much. I just don't like things on my waist that much.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

I wear a watch. Samsung Gear 2 classic. Does all the above @Chris and alot more. Ridiculous price when I bought it on a whim, but wouldn't be without it now. Great for accurately measuring stats, but also for quick communicating eg liking posts etc...all from the watch. Easier than getting the phone out all the time!

I wear a watch & would feel naked without it, I will not have a Smart Phone as I don't want to become addicted to checking it 70 + times a day like the average user, no doubt very good when required but very addictive & building up a major problem for both now & the future.

I stopped wearing a watch years ago because I wasn't allowed to wear one at work and got out of the habit of putting one on when not working..  @Chris got fed up of me asking the time when we were on holiday one year so on my next birthday  he,  @cheeky~k8 and the grandkids presented me with my current portable timepiece.

No, when my last watch broke I never replaced it. I find checking my phone does the trick, the always on function is a godsend.

No, no watch. I had one when I was younger but I grew out of it and it stopped working. I have never replaced it.

I stopped wearing one years ago because most irritate my sensitive skin and i could just check the time on my phone, but i bought a new one recently because i need to know the time when i volunteer at my daughters primary school every week and your not allowed to use your phone, even if its just to check the time.
