So the scoreline wasn’t what we wanted we wanted beat to the ### but unfortunately we didn’t it was a 2-0 scoreline and cj who stole the show. 

But can we take any positives from the game.? 

For me another good performance from Ross Fitzsimmons some quality saves for me sometime the scoreline is a kick to the goal keeper who could of played well but was let down defensively. 

no, the squad lost the fire and fight to even give mansfield a game beyond 30 minutes. i think neal ardley has a difficult task on his hands and unless they get their fitness up and tactical awareness i think notts will struggle to avoid relegation.

Not really but Ardley will learn what he needs to improve with the players so thats always going to help.

I think Neal Ardley has to see the positive from the opening 30 minutes.

He will have noticed how poorly we concede goals, yes it was a well worked goal but that means little. I think the main thing is to focus on that and cutting down the chances we allow opposition teams to have. however, I do feel there are more negatives than positives due to the nature of it being a local derby. If that alone can't fire you up when your in a relegation battle than I fear for the confidence.

It makes such a huge difference when playing football.

1. We don't have to go to Mansfield again this season.

2. The new boss now knows a bit more about his squad. Hopefully he can put that knowledge to good use.

That’s a very good point they are due over in Nottingham I believe in February so hopefully by then the gaffer can sort out the team by then.

He knows what players suit the system a bit more
