We have completed the loan signing of @Boro's Under 23s captain, central defender Sam Stubbs! Sam, an uncompromising defender, will be with us until the end of the season.

Bizarre....

Another CB? Does this mean Barclay isn't deemed good enough, it's weird. I mean I hope he does well for us and that he settles in making a good impact but seriously we need a winger/centre midfielder with some pace. The defence is okay, preferably a right back but the midfield needs legs.

Your probably right about him being a squad filler. Maybe we can bench duffy or completly remove him from gameplay and put him in his place though.

Pleasantly surprised with this signing myself, considering all the poor famous relations we have had over the years.

It makes a change to see two good young defenders and a better formation setup to allow the team to attack.
