Yes I am sorry it didn't work out too but the league table doesn't lie and it was time for a change.

Mick Jones and Andy Watson have also left.

Steve Hodge will be in charge on Tuesday.

I thought if and when they did sack Kiwomya they would give Mick Jones the job, if only temporary, but that isn't going to happen.

We definitely need an experienced manager, I hope they don't go down the cheap option route and give it to Steve Hodge permanently, whether or not he has a good start.

Steve Hodge isn't doing what CK did at dev level, he doesn't deserve to sit Tuesday's game. If I was them, I'd have asked Mick to do it and then get rid if a new manager didn't want him as his assistant.

Not looking forward to Tuesday.

Think they had no choice but to remove Jones and Watson to be able to have a fresh start. Would have been good if they had had somebody lined up for the job. Hodge wouldn't be my choice because of his red background lol! We need somebody who the players respect and they know in no uncertain terms that he's the boss. I would prefer somebody with experience but who realistically can we afford?!

Good point, also who would want to take the poisoned chalice? With Notts bottom of the league who would want to take over?

Have to say, it is no surprise to see Jones & Watson go too. I've often wondered they do all week!

Performances, tactics & general approach to matches has hardly been inspiring since their arrival, it baffled me what influence they were supposed to have. Impact was zero in respect of outcome on the pitch.

Best of luck to Steve Hodge - he will need it. As for a more permanent manager, as long as we keep well away from Pearce, Keane & any prospective internal appointments there will be some hope.

Very sad to hear this. I truly dont believe Chris is the problem, its the players. Too many of them fail to convince us they play for the shirt. We need someone to go in there and tell them exacly what they think, bang some heads together. A bit of a bully if you will. Think the one thing i'd say about Chris is that he's a bit too soft.

I'd put money on Steve Hodge getting the job, lets be honest who in their right mind would want the job?

Heads need banging together before the season becomes unsaveable.

Sorry it didn't work out Chris, another good man let down by arrogant players. I hope the young lads continue to flourish, they're a credit to Chris

Not sure I buy that tbh Weymouth! He was like a startled rabbit every week, hopelessly out of his depth - alarmingly so. Mind boggling appointment in the first place and nothing he's done since ever persuaded me that he had a clue what he was doing. His team selections, tactics and substitutions were borderline insane most of the time. I, like many am amazed that he wasn't sacked in the summer. I kept my powder dry because I couldn't think of anything positive to say about him.

Our current plight is, pretty much down to him, together with the barmy appointment of Mick Jones just because he was Warnock's sidekick. What on earth did he add to the mix? We've got a worse since him and the equally ineffective

Watson were added to the staff.

It was time for him to go ages ago... he was a nice guy but definitely out of his depth... we didnt have the players or time for him to learn on the job. Its not all his fault but he should have been able to get the players to play better than they have this season.

I have no idea who we will get next but hopefully not someone already at notts. Preferably someone with experience that we can afford.

Danny Wilson or Cotterill would do me!

I would be happy with either of those two but I think Ray has gone on record to say that Cotterill will never come back while Ray is at the club.

Perhaps they need some of this

This is probably the most crucial appointment Ray will have made so far. We must bring someone in with at least some form of experience who wont be afraid to bang a few heads together. The young lads have been the best performers so far because they actually WANT to wear that shirt

we have a board who enjoy firing people, they make a certain american businessman look sane!

i really think it would have been better to give ck to next saturday, it wouldn't have harmed us. i get the feeling oldham will turn us over but i will be going. i hope our squad just wake up!
