January signing Micheal Doyle has called for Notts County to be “A little bit braver take a few more chances and be creative” and not “look back in the summer with regrets” as Notts face Exeter in a must win match at meadow Lan tomorrow.

I'm not so much a fan of this talking, however, I am sure Michael Doyle means it - I am just a believer in seeing the talking happening on the pitch.

what if they had this past saturday, easy 3 points after exeter went down to 10 men. awful finishing.

All the players keep coming out with things that sound good when you read them, yet it doesn't mean much when they take to the field. It's all talk, I want to see it on the pitch. In games is when it matters.

I believe they're trying but it's not good enough.

I don't think it's to be brave or creative, to me it looks more like the organisation and work rate applied.

He's trying, nobody should fault that. I like Michael, I think he's a tidy footballer and has done wonders to organise the squad. Not just the back 4!
