A dominant midfield performance from this guy. Perhaps Notts should look to sign, a real Neal Bishop style performance

He hasn't played a lot of football during his career, will look out for him in the future though.

Usually when a player moves around during their earlier careers, it tends to suggest an attitude issue. At 28 he may have finally settled, but having three clubs in 2012 does seem a bit of an alarm bell. A lot more than just the mere appearances he's made when he has settled down.

Some players are late developers. Colby Bishop, for example.... at 28 years of age, I do think James should be considered..He outshone Rose and Doyle and a decent dead ball delivery too

It's also down to the experience they gain once settled at a football club, a player can have all the attributes in the world but if he doesn't have actual game experience it's hard to get the best out of them.

I wouldn't knock him, he would probably be a cheap squad filler who may battle more for his shirt.

i do find these posts to be interesting.

i like to share my thoughts, which i think this player would only be a short term signing. the solution is to find a team you can build around and get at least 5 years out of them. i can see him ending up as a fringe player.
