Notts to play friendly against Dorking

Featured Replies

I'm not sure why some parts of our supporters camp were complaining about the original rejection.

I can see why the club would want to play a friendly or two, as a means to get into match fitness and have some friendly competition.

Yet, I have always felt that we could easily split the squad into two and, play against each other. It might not be competitive as such. but at least it would limit the chance of injuries. Besides I really don't think that playing Dorking would be a massive step up from playing ourselves in training. Notts has a good squad, our B team could probably control a game against them with all due respect.

A field where dreams become reality.

its not a bad thing but i do agree with the point raised by @Chris.

notts would have more control over splitting our squad into two and then playing each other, we don't know how dorking will approach the game, i dont think the friendly is a bad thing either, i just feel notts could be more competitive in a safe environment against themselves.

its all about match fitness isnt it.

The last friendly finished 3-3 against Boston United, some good goals scored.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
