Neal Cox to Scunthorpe?

It's not so much the twitter post that makes me feel something going on, more the fact he's now the current favourite with the bookies to become the next manager!

For that to happen there probably is something going on, but in terms of a "done deal" a day after our Wembley final... Really? I'm not so sure.

@menzinhoYes, such deals do not happen overnight... The "agent" also posted Neal Bishop signing for Scunthorpe too...but there were rumours the other week of Neal Bishop coming to Notts? Maybe he was just speaking with Neil??? Pure speculation though. Will Mackail Smith be the coach lined up, as also rumoured on the "Agents" twitter

Neil is from Scunthorpe. Scunthorpe were his first club. It's an opportunity he couldn't say no to I'd imagine. Obviously I'd prefer if he stayed with us, but I understand why he couldn't say no to Scunthorpe.

This ex agent just reads the rumours within the papers, I would be surprised if he went to Scunthorpe, I would've thought they would want experience to push forward themselves. I also feel, he's got a strong bond with Neal Ardley.

I mean, if he wishes to move on I am sure we can get a good assistant manager.

Perhaps a role for Michael Doyle if Coxy is to move on?

i think its just a rumour, i dont think neal cox will go to scunthrope as thier manager.

If he goes, he goes but I am not sure how much it would effect Neal Ardley if any at all.

Provided Neal Ardley stays, I wouldn't be so bothered because an assistant manager can be found. A good manager that can deliver promotion or even get near to it isn't often found by Notts.
