Eastleigh have called their game off tonight against Stockport due to a positive Covid test in the Eastleigh camp.

Surely that means they will call off our game on Saturday against them, too.

Yes, been told that Yeovil won't play our postponed game on the weekend. The National League needs to step in and make sense of all this, as if we don't play when it's suitable - then we'll just get backlogged which is unfair to us since we're not the ones falling to COVID-19 as often as other clubs.

Eastleigh makes sense to call off, yet if there's an option for a game to be played instead - it should be rearranged.

Eastleigh had issues with COVID-19 earlier in the season correct? I wonder how them having postponed games will effect when we do finally play them.

Shocking really. We'll never get the season finished at this rate. Ideally the league needs to step in, but that'd require them being competent.

disappointed about the eastleigh game being called off, you have to take it at face value though. no big issue but i do hope we can get a run of games without being interrupted. i think yeovil not wanting reschedule for saturday is a joke.

Yep, just so frustrating, another 3 weeks between games… Just seems so unfair at the moment.

I agree this is where the National League should step in, with everyone being so many games behind schedule it doesn’t make sense for teams that are able to play not to play.

Just another weekend wasted and I can guarantee this won’t be the last time it’ll happen to Notts either.

The NL need to pull their finger out and make sure that free weekends like this one get used. How on earth can we finish the season otherwise?

As it is becoming increasingly likely that the season will finish on points per game, teams have an incentive to delay playing the stronger teams (like Notts) for as long as possible in order to avoid losing games. Maybe that sounds cynical, but why else couldn't we get a game this weekend?

The NL won't do anything, they are armatures and look after the smaller clubs because teams like Notts bring them more revenue.
