Notts goal at Wrexham

Featured Replies

I think it's Rawlinson and Cameron who stood ball watching, as they retained a very poor defensive position - which has led to people blaming Slocombe again.

These things are a lot easier to defend than we make them appear.

It's all about positioning and your first movement is vital in positioning yourself between the attacking player from that sort of cross. The pinpoint cross [which was excellent by the way] and Mullins reading of the ball's flight - gave Slocombe little to no chance in making a save. Really, two defenders in such positions should've made it a lot harder to connect to the ball. It looked like a very entertaining game of football, between two decent teams.

A field where dreams become reality.

people look to blame the person that most fans feel will agree, its not just slocombe at fault but that wont stop him being called. i dont think those calling connell rawlinson useless are right either, its early in the season and things will improve.

football is mad sometimes.

Why can't people just enjoy football for what it is and not just find someone to pick on?

I thought Notts did well, Wootton looks like he's on a mission to get us up.
