They remind me of the double-decker trams that Blackpool had (unaware if they still do), I recall @GrannyPie and @super_ram telling me a funny story that involved trolley buses when I was younger.

Pretty cool to share, nostalgia like this.

I remember seeing chaps with a long pole reconnecting the trolley booms to the overhead wires where the buses terminated,and the sparks

@liampie Clifton Estate started to be built in 1950's, so map above predates this. Also, no Clifton Bridge either

Trolleybuses sounds like something you have to manually push yourself. ????
