  1. Notts County is beginning to resemble the team we are familiar with. Morecambe is now facing intense pressure and is retreating defensively. The required quality is evident. Notts should exercise patience when taking shots at goal. I believe if we manage to score within the next 10 minutes, another goal could potentially follow. We must, however, remain cautious of their counter-attacks.
  2. There's no resentment towards him or Wrexham; Tshimanga deserved the opportunity, and I still believe he could excel at a higher level with the right team. I had anticipated he would thrive at Peterborough, but the club seems to be less organized than in previous seasons. He is by no means responsible for their inconsistency or unsuccessful promotion bid.
  3. It's always unfortunate to witness one of our players sidelined for an extended period, but it's reassuring to know that the Reedtz and the club are committed to taking care of him. There was a period when we seemed to offload injured players hastily, just as we took chances on signing them.
  4. I don't believe I've ever witnessed the KOP being so upbeat and vociferous in my lifetime. It was an absolute delight to observe Notts in action, rallying to turn the game around with the entire crowd in the stands and the players on the field working collectively to secure those three points. Grimsby proved to be a formidable team and presented challenges, and while we did contribute to the difficulties at times, our performance in the second 45 minutes was outstanding.
  5. The content on PON is of the highest quality. There's simply no other fan site out there that even comes close to the level of excellence and the range of offerings provided by this site. Please continue to introduce new features.
  6. Sometimes it's amusing! If there are initiatives to curb this behavior, then players who engage in confrontations with those who receive red cards should be penalized with a card themselves, particularly if they start taunting or gesturing.
  7. Barnsley 0-0 Peterborough United Northampton Town 1-3 Lincoln City Shrewsbury Town 2-0 Burton Albion Colchester United 1-2 AFC Wimbledon Joker Crewe Alexandra 1-1 Newport County Stockport County 0-2 Bradford City Eastleigh 0-1 Barnet Woking 1-1 Rochdale
  8. Every match offers an opportunity to rectify previous mistakes and learn something new. This game is crucial for both Morecambe and Notts to assert their standing in League Two. A captivating match awaits us, with both teams needing to claim those critical 3 points. I hope its our day!
  9. Langstaff's scoring proficiency last season was nothing short of heroic. Let's hope he gets a goal soon, as he's a totally different striker once he gets on the score sheet and his determination to assist the team is notable. Fingers crossed from him tonight!
  10. He did well for us, yes he played far better going forward but defensively he was capable. I remember a few mistakes, but I recall a lot more from experienced defenders that usually don't get criticised as much as a loan signing would. Especially one who got a whiplash for being clumsy and costed the club a potential promotion.
  11. Good signing despite his injury issues, he had problems with us if I remember correctly? I was much younger when he played for us but I liked him. I think he should do fine.
  12. It's a nice opportunity for him, some might question the level but it's a good start. If he impresses, there's no reason clubs further up the leagues won't consider taking him on. I wish him a successful loan.
  13. John Bostock was a standout player for Notts, his volleying past keeper Jake Eastwood to equalise. It was a moment of pure class from Bostock, who showed great skill and composure to bring Notts level. I thought he worked very hard for the team.
  14. Hull City 2-1 Sheffield Wednesday Ipswich Town 0-0 Stoke City Leyton Orient 3-2 Portsmouth Peterborough United 1-1 Charlton Athletic (Joker) Harrogate Town 2-3 Forest Green Rovers Swindon Town 1-0 Crewe Alexandra Dagenham & Redbridge 2-2 Southend United York City 4-1 Kidderminster Harriers
  15. Blackburn Rovers 2-3 West Bromwich Albion Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Huddersfield Town Carlisle United 2-0 Fleetwood Town Shrewsbury Town 1-0 Cheltenham Town Morecambe 0-1 Walsall Tranmere Rovers 3-0 Barrow Aldershot 1-2 Oxford City Joker Gateshead 0-0 Boreham Wood
  16. A healthy mix of rest and intense training seems to be working well for the lads. With Kyle Cameron leading the pack with such a positive and dedicated mindset, I believe our return to League Two will be memorable. Focused on causing better opposition problems, the team looks ready to take on any challenge.
  17. Super excited to see the boys giving it their all this season. Cameron's leadership is undisputed, and his belief in the team is infectious. Here's to a successful run in League Two!
  18. We will be just fine. It’s good to see what happens when Macaulay Langstaff doesn’t play. Plus, with Junior Morias returning, we have cover. I think we will be in the mix for promotion come the end of the season.
  19. It’s normal to have some questions and doubts going into the season. These are just normal pre-season jitters. As for the friendlies, they’re a run out and competitively different from matches where points matter.
  20. We finally have players who are relatable and think about each other. I like David McGoldrick's presence on the pitch because he's a calm head. That influence and experience isn't something you can teach, but his strike is another thing that is natural.
  21. Good timing, this with us having played Alfreton yesterday. I don't mind Derby, they are much friendlier than other clubs and I think we do have a connection within our history with each other. This is a very good read.
  22. I understand your point. Perhaps I am just disappointed, but I believe he still has a lot to offer in his current role. He wrote that it was “the most difficult career decision”, yet this is now the second time it has happened. I don’t feel it shows much loyalty to the club, fans, or to Colin Slater, whom he replaced. It seems more than a coincidence that his decision to leave comes just as we are attracting attention, which could be beneficial for him. At the end of the day, it’s his decision, but I am entitled to feel disappointed and to criticise him for using Notts.
  23. It feels unreal to see Notts in this position. I never thought the club would be using pre-season to build players and have this sort of recruitment. I didn't think we would have all these coaches and a squad pulling together. To be in a position where we have just returned to the Football League and with further hard work, Notts could be in with the chance of another promotion. It just feels very special. I appreciate our owners so much and Luke Williams.
  24. I hope Luke Williams is the manager who will start giving youths a chance and show no fear in playing them. A few of these do look like decent prospects that will only get better. I hope they do make it.
  25. I'm disappointed because I think when he arrived, many comments were made about his coverage of Mansfield games. Some of our fans even said he supported them, and Stag fans said he would do this. I don't like people using Notts as a stepping stone. However, I do wish him well because he won everyone over. But having the label of Colin Slater's successor has made his decision to leave bitter in my mind. I mean, what do I know, but he seems to want to be back on camera and more well-known. I think I wouldn't have these feelings if he had been here for a lot longer.
