  1. Four unbeaten, solid base to build from. On to Gillingham now.
  2. I think the club knew Stuart Maynard had lost support after the AFC Wimbledon game. Now we have to hope Martin Paterson can keep things moving in the right direction. I like how he manages matches, he’s not afraid to make changes or take players off when needed. Didzy recently said he thought he was going to retire. It says a lot when he leaves Notts open to criticism for not offering more money to keep him, only to join the highest bidder who’s likely to go up. His loyalty as a fan doesn’t seem to count for much.
  3. The owners gave a decent statement. I do think they could have gone into more detail, though. It would’ve helped to confirm if any more bids came in for Alassana Jatta, and explain what the club actually did to sort the situation. Triggering his extension seems the most likely reason for the back spasm injury, which came at the worst time when we really needed him.
  4. I thought Mai Traore looked decent against Fleetwood. He was more involved and seemed to read the game well, even though it was just a short appearance. I think every club should have at least four strikers, even if one is a young lad still learning the ropes.
  5. I’m sad to see Curtis Edwards go. He was never quite the same, and it’s those early games that showed what he could’ve offered. The club’s gone in a new direction, and Edwards didn’t really take the chance to get stuck in. I don’t mean to be harsh, but it’s always tough when you’re passed over for loan signings and stronger players like Ollie Norburn.
  6. These look brilliant! I’m really impressed. It’s great to see someone encouraging others to be more creative with their signatures.
  7. I think the club has settled well with the new signings. I’m sad to see Curtis Edwards leave. He brought something different. I reckon Jack Hinchy might be next to go unless they sort out a loan move for him soon.
  8. It’s back to school tomorrow. I’m hoping the day goes quickly and doesn’t feel like it’s dragging. The first day back always seems to move slowly and can be a bit dull. It’ll be nice to catch up with my friends, but for me, the day really starts at 3:15pm.
  9. Notts did well against a tough Fleetwood side. Fleetwood clearly came with a plan to break up the play and keep the ball in the air, just as someone mentioned before kick-off. At the same time, they wanted something from the match, which made it more lively. I think Notts could have played more directly at times, but overall it was a good 90 minutes.
  10. Sorry, I was expecting this to be news about him signing for a new club. 🤣
  11. Dennis keeps showing how valuable he is. Another important finish when we needed it most.

  13. Good to see Paterson demanding more even after a win. Keeps standards high.
  14. Just look at what’s happened with Alexander Isak at Newcastle. There have been rumours that his agent tried to push him into a move, though it’s only talk at this stage. Still, it doesn’t look great for either of them. If that sort of thing happened in League Two, it would be even worse. Isak’s case is more extreme, with reports saying he threatened not to train. That kind of behaviour doesn’t help anyone and makes the situation messy. Daily MirrorAlexander Isak statement blasted 'ridiculous' as agent sp...Alexander Isak is looking to force a move to Liverpool before the transfer deadline, and the Newcastle star's recent comments have been slammed by a football agent
  15. Sonny Aljofree deserves some credit. I thought he was brilliant and handled himself well under pressure. Rod McDonald was superb. He dealt with the danger calmly and made some key blocks when things got messy. In all the panic and chaos, those two really stood out. They gave the team some much-needed stability.
  16. Blackburn Rovers 2-1 Norwich City Watford 1-1 Southampton Barnsley 2-1 Huddersfield Town Wigan Athletic 1-1 Stockport County Barnet 0-1 Colchester United Joker Bromley 1-0 Harrogate Town Hartlepool United 2-0 Boreham Wood Morecambe 2-1 Woking
  17. I get tired of things like this, though thankfully it’s not something we see often under the Reedtz brothers. I do feel the club tends to brush off news that fans care about, even when there’s no real reason to. It just ends up causing splits among supporters. I understand there are limits to what they can say or do, but that doesn’t mean they should hide things.
  18. Ollie Palmer would’ve been a brilliant signing for Notts. He’s a top player at this level and I reckon he’ll do well for Swindon Town. It’s a real shame we didn’t bring him in.
  19. Rest in Peace, Steve Thompson. My thoughts are with his family.

  23. Good to see Ollie talking about resilience. We need that attitude in the squad.
  24. If we can control the midfield early on, we might just pull off a win. Hoping for a strong showing from Notts!
  25. Bromley didn’t look very strong at the start, and while I think we played better than in recent matches, I still believe last season’s squad would have taken control early on. In the first half, we could’ve finished the game off if we’d been more accurate with our chances. Some of the shots that did hit the target were good enough to win it, and I feel Notts deserved the three points. It’s frustrating because it reminds me of past seasons, where going a goal up doesn’t mean much, there’s always the risk we’ll concede just as easily. At 2–1, it never feels safe. You start expecting a draw, and sadly, that’s how it turned out. I’m disappointed, but there were signs of improvement too, so I’m trying to stay positive.
