  2. Good luck to him. I’ll miss seeing him in our kit and bossing League Two, but I truly wish him all the best.
  3. Looks a tidy player. Hopefully he settles quickly and gets some decent minutes.

  6. Hello, @Chedozie. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. You can find a lot of good content from the Dashboard page.
  7. Solid interview. Clear that there's a long-term plan in place. Can’t ask for more than that at this level.
  8. Notts did everything in the first half except score. It was some of the best attacking football we’ve played, and it looked like we were really going for it. A goal then could have changed the whole game. Newport came out with a different approach in the second half. They put us under pressure and turned it into more of a battle. It took us a while to adjust to what they were doing.
  9. Matt Palmer looked like he had springs in his boots. He was quick across the pitch and showed real determination throughout the game. It felt like he was trying to prove he’s got what it takes to be captain, and he backed it up with a strong performance.
  10. Felt like we should’ve come away with all three points. Loads of promise though.

  12. Liking the honesty. No false promises, just hard graft and focus.
  13. Who do you think Martin Paterson should focus on to help Notts become more competitive? I realise football is a team sport, but I'm curious to hear which individuals people believe could make a real difference if they had their best season. It’s about giving that extra bit of support, whether that's mentoring, boosting confidence, or guiding someone tactically. Think back to Adam Chicksen. His performances played a massive part in getting us back into the Football League. So, who do you feel could be that player this season?
  14. Welcome to PON @Henny, enjoy the site.
  15. Grant looked sharp again. Jatta's tidy finish and brave tackle summed up his commitment. Cardiff started strong, but we settled and matched them after the break. Good test.
  16. I’ve got a feeling, even though most people don’t agree, that Matt Palmer will stay as captain. He has my full backing, but if someone else takes the role, I’ll support them too. Jacob Bedeau looks like the clear next option to me.
  17. I haven’t thought too much about it, but some clubs make odd choices. Chesterfield last season gave us a small number of tickets, even though they had lots of seats spare and still said it was a sell-out.
  18. I really wish they’d release the home shirt first instead of the away. I don’t understand why Puma is always late with it. If they can sort the away one, surely the home shirt should come first.
  19. This seems like a good idea. If it catches on and people start sharing different things, it might get them talking about topics they wouldn’t normally mention.
  20. Hello, welcome to PON @Triton 61.
  21. I hope those three goals are enough for Chelsea to secure the win. It would be good to see them come out on top. Any chance to get one over PSG is always welcome. There’s a bit of extra satisfaction in that.
  22. Cracking signing this, exactly the type of player we needed at the back!
  23. Either him or Matty Platt joining would likely cause a lot of upset, especially since we've let Alex Bass go. That decision alone has put fans on edge, so adding someone seen as a step down might stir things even more. I didn’t expect Sonny to be welcomed so warmly. I thought people on social media might kick up a fuss again, saying things like “he’s just a loan” or “he’s too young”. But it seems like he’s made a decent first impression.
  24. @Joshua, It’s a helpful push towards better control. Putting limits on how much clubs can spend means someone’s watching what they do, which makes it harder for mistakes or dodgy choices to be swept under the rug. Club owners and their media teams won’t be able to dismiss things quite so easily. With clear rules, it’ll be plain to see when spending gets out of hand or corners are being cut.
  25. Played sports for two hours earlier, which was fun, but it was way too hot for lessons. The best bit about being out on the field was feeling the breeze and having cold water to keep cool. When I got home, I didn’t bother turning on my computer. Just wanted to relax and not think too much. So I’ve been chilling with summer tunes in my ears, feet up on the table, and sitting back in my chair without a care in the world.
