  1. I have never heard of the player, but he looks like a good candidate. Notts may be inquiring about other players. We don’t know until news is broken or someone signs. I wouldn’t pin all my hopes on just one player, no matter how good they were.
  2. Accrington Stanley may be the first in-form team Notts have played at Meadow Lane, but I have confidence in the squad to achieve a strong outcome. It may be a close game, but I will take a narrow win if that is what happens. Also, I don’t believe a draw would be all that bad; yes, ideally Notts would claim the points, but one point is better than none at all.

  9. It's interesting to see Connell Rawlinson embodying this sentiment. His acknowledgement of how 'the three points matter more' is an indicative statement of a player who values contribution over personal achievements. His preparedness to contribute to the team's success, combined with his praise of Luke Williams, highlights Notts County’s strong ethos of unity and interdependence. It's commendable both as a player and as a team member.
  10. Hello, @Sir Magpie. Welcome to PON.
  11. Hello, @NorthPie. Welcome to PON.
  12. It might be tempting fate to say that we’ve improved, but the signs indicate progress, especially after the Sutton defeat. I did wonder if the players’ nerves would have a greater impact on the start than that single defeat. Luke Williams is showing signs of working on the aspects that will yield results, so we’ll see where the club stands in six games’ time.
  13. The commentary doesn’t bother me; I find it quite good. However, I do agree that some commentators go overboard and sound as if they’ve consumed far too many energy drinks, like those from Forest.
  14. That’s a splendid team, with cherished memories of watching them in action. Les Bradd and Brian Stubbs will forever be icons of Jimmy’s squad. Bradd could have played at a much higher level, but thankfully he had spells with us in the old first division. I still believe he could have been one of the best.
  15. Congratulations are in order for Jodi Jones, who has been credited with the goal. He will undoubtedly be thrilled with this decision.
  16. One of the primary attractions of the Pride of Nottingham is its well-written and enjoyable articles. Unlike content from the BBC or Nottingham Live, which is often merely skimmed on social media, these pieces command attention.
  17. NK Slaven Belupo currently sit mid-table, having played five matches, while most other teams have only played four. Their form appears to be somewhat inconsistent at this point. Ricardo Moniz seems to be performing adequately, and the upcoming match against HNK Gorica will be a significant test for them. We wish him the best of luck.
  18. Perhaps Tipton's latent potential is our answer to the current challenge.
  19. It's gratifying to see the club in a direction we've awaited for years. As supporters, we have a part to play in keeping the momentum going. Onward and upward!
  20. Luke Williams' approach of protecting his players and not making minor mistakes into bigger issues. It's crucial to support them during challenging moments and help them grow. Mistakes happen to everyone, and it's through support and encouragement that players can learn and improve. Good players can force mistakes, regardless of the performance of the opposing team. Williams' focus on the development of the players will ultimately lead to improvement and better performances in the future.
  21. The match provided a truly enjoyable viewing experience. Our impressive turnout of supporters added to the joy of the occasion. Even if we had brought along just 1,000 fans, I believe their enthusiasm and noise level would have been just as remarkable. Such passionate backing is truly remarkable and must be sustained. The special bond that has formed between the fans and the club needs to be nurtured. Victories like this should serve as stepping stones for the future. The goals scored during the match were all expertly constructed and executed.
  22. Macaulay Langstaff's story of achieving his first FL goals showcases perseverance, confidence, and teamwork, vital skills in sports and life. His composed demeanor amid external scrutiny and personal pressure, coupled with his striker's mindset, is evident in his words, "If I’m not getting the chances then I’m doing something right." His ability to anticipate scoring opportunities and trust in the team's strategy is commendable. He's a player who seamlessly combines personal ambition with team goals. The team's shift towards set piece scoring underscores adaptability and strategy. Alongside Sam Austin's standout performance, this highlights collective efforts towards Langstaff's milestone. The story reinforces that triumph is not just about individual performance, but also about effective teamwork and a strong collaborative spirit.
  23. Brilliant photos capturing the fans' emotions and camaraderie. Well done, @Chris!
  24. Amidst the thrill and action of the match, what stood out was the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among the players. Notts County really showed their prowess on the field, dishing out a wonderful performance. ARLukomski, you did an amazing job with the vlog, it lets us relive the heart-stopping moments from our team's victory.
  25. Luke Williams' thought process behind the team's performance does justice to the corrective measures taken since the beginning of the season. His critical analysis of the team's performance serves as a reflection of effective leadership. Furthermore, the recognition he's given to individual player performances such as that of Macaulay Langstaff, is indicative of how closely he's working in unison with the team. This connectedness can provide the players the necessary encouragement they need to continue performing well.
