  1. The birthday boy has scored another point - the correct answer is Darren Ward. I hope to share another round shortly. When I say the time, something crops up, but I suggest keeping a lookout. Well done, @Fan of Big Tone. @Fozzy @super_ram, you need to be quicker guys.
  2. This has the potential to be a massive signing for Notts. He’s a great player and comes to us with a far better squad than he was around at Morecambe. I think his coming here will be a big boost for Luke Williams.
  3. I agree that Brentford should look for a new first-team keeper. When a player pulls this trick, it’s just toxic and can split a happy dressing room in half. No club needs to deal with this type of issue, but it does happen a lot. Let him go, replace him well and show he made a mistake.
  4. Tony, Happy Birthday to you. Have a great day!
  5. I am also pleased by the arrival of Dan Crowley. He has the ability to help us gain promotion. The recruitment is finally allowing us to add the right depth, and I think this will be money well spent. He’s a very good player who can reach his full potential by playing in our squad.
  6. @Fan of Big Tone Just to confirm, you’re asking me now if he played for Forest. Not re-asking me if you can ask the question? Yes.
  7. @super_ram KOP side, near County Road. There are a few more than 39 steps, but it’s the closest you’ll get with Notts involved.
  8. I can’t break the rules of the game though, so I am just sneaky with my wording at times. You can ask any questions you wish.
  9. I would hope so, it's the aim of the game after all.
  10. Nice and friendly fans? In my personal experience, AFC Wimbledon has great fans. It will be nice to see them play MK Dons, who are the opposite. They’re self-entitled and believe themselves to be bigger than most more historical clubs. Great pubs nearby? I have no idea. Good, pies, food etc? I eat at service stations. I think it might be more costly but better all around. Easy to get to? Mansfield is the easiest, but since I don’t drive I’ll have to nominate @liampie’s choice.
  11. It would be quite petty if the club and Moore fell out over the budget. I can’t imagine Wednesday could spend much considering where they’ve been and how the club has struggled for years.
  12. For us, Kairo Mitchell was a waste of a shirt. We improved a lot once we let him go and it made sense. I know some people can be hateful or angry, but my thoughts are based on being a good quality team.
  13. Black Mirror or From? I think it depends on the taste of it, I don't mind a lot of blood and gore myself but it needs to be convincing. Not for the sake of it.
  14. James Maddison has always come across as a very nice player, but this is something else. It’s a very kind thing to do. I hope Jodi Jones gets it framed and hung on his wall, along with his own shirt if he can.
  15. Good luck to Jordan at Boston United. He’s going to be playing in a difficult league and the only way I think he’ll get out is by playing well enough to sign for a team higher up. I hope he does well.
  16. Round 13 clue: This player was born in a town in Nottinghamshire and began his professional career with a local club. He later moved to another club in the same county for a significant fee and made a large number of appearances for them.
  17. When Cal Roberts was around Meadow Lane towards the end of last season, I assumed he was coming back to support his old teammates and friends. Maybe Aberdeen suggested that he find a new club? Scunthorpe United has built a decent team since being relegated from League Two.
  18. Points Table: @Fan of Big Tone - 4 @Fozzy - 4 @super_ram - 2 @KB1862 - 1 @liampie - 1 I will think of another player within the next few hours and, post round 13 then. I'll aim between 6 to 6:30pm.
  19. Jack Bearne could be a good punt. The club knows him and his experience at Liverpool will have given him a good pedigree. I’m guessing here, but I think with his playing time so far, he might end up being a trialist for clubs considering signing him. I would take a gamble on him provided the salary he wanted was reasonable.
  20. I watch most friendlies, but I don’t watch the national league. I try to keep updated with football, including watching Match of the Day and The Football League Show. Internationals are important if you’re keen on the sport; it’s where we unite with fans across our country to get a sense of pride.
  21. I issued it earlier, but I thought I had logged out or something. It seems fine to me. I left looking like I had signed out, but now I’m back signed in and I haven’t issued the cookie message or been shown in the userbar as needing to log in.
  22. I have followed quite a few members. I didn't realise I had neglected this feature, but I have made sure that I have added all the members who are active and whom I am most likely to respond to.
  23. Malta stood little chance. It was a solid team performance by England, very routine, but a few of the Malta players looked okay. It was hard for them to get involved when England rushed to get the ball back so quickly.
  24. I liked Dion Kelly-Evans, but I think he should focus on trying to establish himself in teams by working hard instead of handing in transfer requests. I can’t see a team buying him unless he’s released.
