  1. I still hope he’s welcome to train and use our facilities to help his comeback. However, I don’t believe we should offer him a one-year deal. Would Woking do it? I doubt it. I wish Adam Chicksen all the best, and I hope his injury doesn’t lead to financial problems. Many players have other sources of income, and hopefully Chicks does too.
  2. It’s sad to hear the news. I saw a clip of a young boy interrupting some ceremony or something similar, but Pope Francis didn’t seem to mind. He looked at the boy the way a grandfather might, with warmth and understanding. I hope he finds inner peace and rests easily.
  3. I’ve been getting around more easily lately, but I still need to find somewhere to live as I’m planning to move in with my girlfriend. Today’s been a nice change, feeling more motivated to do things. I hope everyone else on PON is doing well. How’s everyone?

  9. Hello, @Michael Bramley. It's great to read the connection you have with @super_ram. I can see why your father thought a lot of him, because well, he's super! Even if you don't attend games you will be welcome to share your thoughts on PON. Sometimes an outside view makes a good insight, so please don't be put off. Welcome to the community from me.

  13. Do you like it, @Piethagoram? I’m not a fan of it, or even the regular version. The texture puts me off. I don’t like white or dark chocolate either. Milk chocolate is the only one I enjoy, and even then, it depends a lot on what it’s paired with. I was surprised when Poundland copied it with their Twin Peaks.
  14. I love the choice in username! Great decision!! 👍🏻👏🏻 Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @piedestrian. 23. Missing out on the playoffs would be a major disappointment, much like how we felt when we deserved promotion in the National League but underperformed in the playoff final against Chesterfield. That’s why I believe Walsall deserves a place in the automatics, they’ve shown they belong. I found their fans calling for the manager’s dismissal perplexing, even during a rough patch. Their situation highlights how harmony and unity are essential for clubs striving for promotion.
  24. George Abbott has grown immensely since joining the first team. From a reserved player hesitant to celebrate with fans at the start of the season, he's developed into someone who could one day be a squad leader and a future club captain. His talent is undeniable, though he needs to manage his temper better as his short fuse can be a concern. Nonetheless, his growth as a player is exciting to watch.
  25. Ian Burchnall did an adequate job during his time with Notts, but he wasn’t exceptional. He left the club for what he described as a "project" with Forest Green Rovers, jumping at the first opportunity to manage an EFL team. While I understand managers moving on, the way he left felt abrupt, and joining a struggling League One side wasn't a great career move. His tenure there reinforced that it was the wrong decision. While it’s nice he has fond memories of Notts, we’ve moved forward. I wouldn't welcome him back, just as I wouldn’t wish to see Luke Williams, Kevin Nolan, or Harry Kewell return.
