  1. As for the BBC footage, I'll make sure to keep an eye out for its upload on their website. It would be great if someone could provide a link if it's already available.
  2. It's understandable that handling over 1,000 shirt orders with just two people can be challenging. However, prioritising deliveries and ensuring enough staff are on hand could help prevent delays for paying supporters. Alternatively, they could have kept fans informed about the status of their orders through the website. Waiting might not be an issue for most fans, but the lack of communication and service is not an acceptable excuse. Did they arrive @Fan of Big Tone?
  3. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, everyone. Hello from across the pond!
  4. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @David Shipston. Hello from across the pond!
  5. Blackburn Rovers 0-0 West Bromwich Albion Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Huddersfield Town Carlisle United 3-1 Fleetwood Town Shrewsbury Town 1-0 Cheltenham Town Morecambe 1-1 Walsall Tranmere Rovers 2-0 Barrow Aldershot 1-2 Oxford City Joker Gateshead 1-1 Boreham Wood
  6. It's good to read that the training has been of high importance, and Kyle Cameron believes it will give the club some edge over others. The players do need to work hard but also enjoy their football, so hopefully chances will be taken, and the squad enjoys having a go at achieving something positive.
  7. The drive and preparation being put into our training is a testament to our ambitions for the upcoming season. Kyle Cameron's confidence in their efforts is heartening. The increased intensity of our training should be directly reflected in the vigour we bring to our League Two matches. All this hard work should definitely assist in targeting a top-three finish this season.
  8. Remembering last season, it's evident that a deep block situation did arise quite often. If we can tactically outsmart such strategies, I reckon we can maintain control over games. Williams seems aware of this, and it's now down to how well we execute on the pitch.
  9. I am reading that the final score in the Alfreton game was 5-0. Macaulay Langstaff found the net three times, which is very positive news. Please do share your thoughts; I would love to see more opinions from fans who attended and in general.
  10. Boston sounded like a very good test. It deserves credit to shut out a team that plays good football, and it says a lot about both teams. Winning 1-0 isn’t a bad thing at all. The fact that we managed to score is the positive part, along with the relentless pushing for the scoring opportunity. It could have easily led to frustration and a lapse in concentration, resulting in them having fewer chances on goal but claiming the win.
  11. I feel sorry for Reading fans. They had some good times in the Premier League and should be able to find someone to take over. I don’t think it’s fair to single out Asian owners of football clubs as not always having the best interests at heart. Many owners in general see clubs as their own toy, but the amount of Chinese owners making their way into football and letting down the fans is quite high.
  12. I’m not a season ticket holder, but I will watch whatever games the club streams online for us exile fans overseas. I am very much looking forward to this. If you are able to make the games, with it being our first season back and the club requiring boosts to the funds, go and support the club in the league and cup games.
  13. My personal view is, where else do they have to play? I do understand the concern that it could lead to people abusing the transgender path to get into football, but I think those will be few and far between. Just like cheats in any sport, maybe have strict rules regarding the length of time a transition has taken place and other requirements. I have no problem with it, no issue at all. If someone was born female and they transitioned into a male and were deemed good enough, I would feel exactly the same way.
  14. Cisse, Gill, Goodwin, Hazard, Reaney are the players I have read about as being good, either in comments on here or mentioned in match reports. I think Cisse has a real opportunity to further impress Luke Williams and if he’s still the same player floating around on the bench in friendlies and coming on, then it’s a big thing.
  15. Lucien Mahovo seems like a good player if played in the right area. I read that he made some good crosses in the Nottingham Forest friendly and improved on the back of the shocker he had against Stoke City. Those types of games will happen, so I wouldn’t want to write him off. However, I do feel Luther Munakandafa has the biggest potential. His name has been floating around for a few years now. I think he was formerly our highest goalscorer in the youth team. Being able to play on the wing and as a striker has a huge benefit.
  16. A club like Barnsley would always convince a player like Andy Dallas to sign over any League Two team. I think we should be thankful that he hasn’t ended up in the same league as us because it’s competition we do not need right now. Good luck to him!
  17. It would be disappointing if the tickets didn’t sell out. I am not suggesting they won’t; I am sure plenty of fans will be wanting to go. I am just saying it would be a shame because we have just been promoted and that should carry a lot of fans forward in its own right. It needs to be sold out, so hopefully it will on the first day of general sale.
  18. No albums currently. I am listening to this due to the fact the cancel culture are saying it's racist. It a very good song by Jason Aldean, that mentions nothing to do with any race.
  19. Pay no attention to your granddads comments in his post, just remember who truly holds the power. Any steps out of line and report him straight to your grandmother! Welcome to PON, @George L. It's very nice to have you here.
  20. Hello, @JustLikeJuve. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  21. Hello, @Steveyward. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  22. I personally always wondered what Cloughie saw in him, the £1m fee just seemed inflated at the time it was hard to justify. Now that far less talented players have been sold multiple times over, I am inclined to think differently. He was a good player on his day. Rest in peace, Trevor Francis.
  23. The season hasn’t yet begun and the EFL is allowing Salford to play on a Friday because Manchester United is at home. Will they rearrange every game where this happens? It should be called out for what it is: simply unacceptable.
  24. I don’t think it helps matters that they slap the title “realistic” on their articles after spreading untruths earlier with players being linked. None of their sources turned out to be correct, so why would anyone trust what they write? The72 needs to rethink and stop with the BS.
  25. This is good news. Eventually, Notts will have homegrown players within the team if they keep pushing for it to happen. The club is in the right environment now to start making these changes and include pathways for them to progress in and around the first team. I hope the Notts academy becomes the crown jewel of our club.
