  1. I hope Frank Vincent settles and finds his form; he could be a key player for Dagenham & Redbridge.
  2. I understand the frustration; it doesn’t help with Puma delaying the kit’s release, but I think that’s not solely their fault. Hopefully, the club will show what the kits look like, and both prove to be popular.
  3. Aaron Nemane being praised against Nuneaton is further evidence of Luke Williams cleverly encouraging him; you would expect him to run rampant against them. It’s good to have him committed for a further two years.
  4. This is bizarre; I can’t understand why they would hire a manager on a 5-year-deal then sack them. I bet it’s a good payday for Ferguson.
  5. Enjoy a laugh and a good chat here on PON, @rohan. Welcome to the community!

  7. Enjoy a laugh and a good chat here on PON, @Michael D P. Welcome to the community!
  8. Neil MacKenzie played for Stoke and Notts.
  9. @Fan of Big Tone Some keepers do take things too far, but it’s the same for strikers who perform antics themselves. They should have to do a straight run-up, without stuttering, leaps or jumps. If a keeper can’t move, why should the advantage go solely to the penalty taker? Archie Mair also engaged in some of these dark arts of goalkeeping.
  10. I am fond of retro shirts and do not mind that they are not as close to the original. As mentioned in the shirt update thread, I intend to purchase some with my shirt order if they have my size in stock.
  11. I may order some replicas in when I buy my shirts. I don’t expect them to be 100% the same as the original. I am not sure if I intended to wait, so fans can get theirs before I do, but I will be buying several as I always do. The date doesn’t affect me, but I understand how it would others.
  12. I have followed your blog and look forward to reading your entries @TheSkipper.
  13. Welcome to PON, @JackMagpie95. It's good to have you on the site.
  14. Welcome to PON, @BigTom91. I look forward to seeing your comments.
  15. I thought of joining, but I am put off by Eion Musk. He's less trustworthy than Mark Zuckerberg in my eyes, as he goes about benefits that only he wants. Since being voted off Twitter, he has resorted to ruining it for all.
  16. I don’t think all the changes are necessary, as some of them are what the card system is for. However, I don’t believe that what the Argentina keeper did in the World Cup final should have been allowed. Trying to put off the opposition by talking to them in an annoying way should have resulted in him being carded. Most of the changes seem to be a result of his antics. I have also read that towels will no longer be able to be used for long throws, which should speed up the game slightly.
  17. I can’t say that I’m aware of United’s goalkeeper issue. However, I think I would chime in that David De Gea would find his career more on track away from the club. They are no longer the club they used to be in the 90s, and I do feel they need to shake things up to be able to challenge for the title. Instead of spending large sums, they could sell some of the players who can be replaced and strengthen their bench.
  18. I have gone on a road trip with my lovely neighbours. They've taken me out in their RV out [EMI AF34] and we have gone to Mexico. I had mentioned that I hadn't been on a proper holiday for quite a while and they insisted I take a trip with them. I know text can seem like the person is laying it on thick, but I think my medication is starting to work. I can now walk without feeling any sort of intense burning pain, like I am on fire with knives being thrown and someone squeezing my heart with their hand. I have enjoyed my weekend in Mexico so far. I'm also pleased to say I signed up to the iFollow service today. I will try to snap some nice pictures to share of the scenery!
  19. I was thinking about some of the fads that have come and gone over the years and there are a few that I just never understood why they were so popular. For example, remember when everyone was wearing those rubber band bracelets shaped like animals? Or when fidget spinners were all the rage? I never really got the appeal. What about you? Are there any fads that you never understood why they were so popular?
  20. It’s nice. I have tried to buy into the iFollow for weeks. That will be my season ticket, but there are no packages yet. Selling 5k is a good milestone. Whatever it ends up being come the start, it’s more foundation blocks in the right direction.
  21. Very interesting graphic. Matt Palmer seems to be one of those players who covers a lot of ground while performing at a very high standard. The way he covers so many blades of grass shows part of the quality he possesses. It would be interesting to compare this to the end of our League Two campaign. Will it be similar or increase?
  22. Luke Williams appears to be the type of person who won't get drawn into distractions. He is open and honest, but he will have his personal thoughts that won't be expressed on camera or during an interview. There may be more known to him about Aaron Nemane, however, his approach is right to focus. He has recruited well on paper. If we need to bring someone else in, so be it, but as he says, we have depth. The squad's training and many of the signings sound brilliant.
  23. I am of the mindset that if people are happy, life is good. The world would be bland without celebrities, B-listers, TV stars, radio personalities, normal folk, weirdos, randoms and gossipers. Just pay no attention to it. The worst thing is to acknowledge it because more and more mundane things will creep into your life.
  24. Hello, welcome from across the pond @NottsCountyKev. It's great to have you here!
  25. I have seen a similar thing with colours. It’s our brain interpreting the sound to hear or see what we want. It’s a neat trick.
