  1. Notts needs to dig deep to get a positive result, Hartlepool are hard to beat at home but I am hopeful we can go 3 games unbeaten.
  2. I will be tuning into the game via BBC Radio Nottingham. I don't know what to expect, Sutton have gotten themselves off to a flying start by winning all of their games so far. At home they will want to protect this, so any three of the possible outcomes could happen. I don't see any risk of postponement, I know some have been banging about the rain on social media. Sutton I suspect will be clever and attack using set pieces. By now most teams should have done their home work with this issue. If Roberts starts, I would feel Notts has more of an outlet. If he doesn't, I don't see the wider spaces being exploited and I think this would make it much harder for Notts to be creative.
  3. Unleash Rodrigues and, allow him to have a level of freedom that an attacking minded midfielder has. Put Reeves in over Doyle and, save him for Saturday. Keep Thomas and Wootton up top.
  4. New deals need to be offered earlier than just at the end of every season, it seems poor planning and a lack of long term vision. Alex Lacey, Richard Brindley and Kristian Dennis would all be on my team sheet. It's very important the club secures their services.
  5. The sending off is easily the turning point in the game, but its still a good win. Usually Notts never takes advantage of having the extra man, they do better when we go one down but I do always feel the changes helped to bring the team into the game more. All I know is it's a fantastic three points.
  6. Until you know someone who has been effected by the virus, just avoid listening to the UK media. They're notoriously known for being scaremongers.
  7. I am hoping the next game sees a large improvement, they wasn't at the races and the performance wasn't there at all. Very poor from the whole squad, but I still believe securing a playoff place is possible. Issue is balancing the poor performances with good ones.
  8. I will go for a 2-0 win. I agree with starting Kristian Dennis, even Nathan Tyson would be nice to see. Get an early goal, come out in the second half and put the game to bed.
  9. He suffered a bit of a fall from grace, a very kind man nonetheless.
  10. The National League is a bit hit and miss with the facilities, but I do think the experience will benefit the club in the long run. Notts have had to learn and adapt on their feet, away from home especially. No more complaints about bumps in the pitch I hope, like Dean Leacock would moan about. Notts have gone back to the roots in football.
  11. A stalemate might be disappointed, but nothing ended up being dropped and it's a clean sheet. There will be games like this. It's all about collecting wins on the row, and not losing games.
  12. As others have said, it's a good point but awfully boring to watch for the majority of the game. Notts had good chances, as did they but nobody could make the most of them.
  13. I will go for a 2-1 lucky win for Notts. I don't expect a good performance, but I think we can take Halifax even if they're on home soil.
  14. It was pleasing to see a clean sheet, I felt AFC Flyde did well in the second half. They came out much brighter than Notts, but the difference was in the chances created. They struggled to hit the target, and Sam Slocombe did very well to deny a couple of wonderful efforts.
  15. I am not sure Notts should be intimidated by any team in this league, anyone can beat anyone and on their day Notts can be a very good team. I think the better performances have come at home, but things do appear to be getting better. It will be interesting to see who takes Doyle's place. I think Notts should do well enough.
  16. If Notts learned to pass the ball in the oppositions half, using long direct passes at times to pick players out it would cause trouble. I don't get the need to hoof the ball anywhere other than the defence or unless it works. It's a bad strategy and negative too.
  17. Squad is up, thoughts?
  18. Excellent result, one I didn't see coming. Notts played like a totally different team once they returned after the first 45 minutes, completely different.
  19. I just want to see the players give everything for 90 minutes, I don't expect them to win the first game but to show how determined they're would be nice to see with a solid display. I can see it being a 2-2 draw.
  20. Fail to win and it will only be true fans attending the games, I wonder how many will hang around if the clubs relegated. It would be a disaster and I am hoping Notts can bag a 2-0 win. Stead and Enzio to score.
  21. They have to get a better result against Tranmere, if a win isn't possible fight for the draw. Losing points is what will cost the club at the end of the season, it won't be anything else and any fan who thrown's having grounded a point needs to get their heads checked. Tranmere are a tough team but we could do something. Start the right team, slow the game down and just focus on picking passes out carefully. I suspect it will end 1-1.
  22. Terrible defending cost the game, just mistakes after mistakes. Nobody at the back had a good game and I refuse to believe that Rob Milsom is the best left back that the club has. I would rather see Cedric Evina in there, he's far better going forward.
  23. I fancy Notts to turn over Crewe, the confidence is lifting and I see them as a side that can be rocked if the defence is pushed. I would predict a comfortable 3-0 win. Stead, Hemmings and Husin to score.
  24. Yes, I agree it's a good draw and Notts could have won but at the same time Northampton had their chances. Crewe will be a good test of the squad now.
  25. I am just hoping Notts can put a stop to this rot, I would take a draw now.
