Farewell Rawlinson
It’s regrettable that his time has come to an end, not due to a lack of effort. His skill isn’t the same as when he first joined. There have been some good performances, but not enough recently. Regardless, I would always wish a former Notts player well.

Notts County Unveils Stylish New Home Shirt for 2024-25 League Two Season
I reckon the design is appealing. Those who might not fancy it at first will likely warm up to it. The red logo doesn’t bother me, and I believe the overall appearance is striking. It’s one of the best I’ve seen in a while, and I’m really hoping the away shirt is equally pleasing.

His pride in achieving promotion back to the EFL is clear, and his gratitude towards the fans shows a deep connection. Rawlinson truly embraced what it means to be part of the Notts County family. We wish him the best for his next adventure. It’s been an honour to have you at Meadow Lane, Connell.

New OS site
Yes, it appears to be a nice design. I particularly like the menu area as it has a very modern look. I’ve noticed a few issues, but they’re easy to overlook. However, the club’s request for fans to report issues might be something they regret, given how particular some people can be.

Curtis Edwards joins Notts
Cracking signing, Curtis Edwards fits the role rather well. Slotting him into the midfield should be straightforward, I can envision him potentially rotating with Scott Robertson or coming off the bench to steady the ship. Very heartening news.

Stuart Maynard catch up
Top-notch interview with Stuart Maynard, it wasn’t a walk in the park stepping in after Luke Williams departed for Swansea. He had a raft of things to get acquainted with, but the remarks from the players and staff about his pleasant nature and what I’ve observed of his coaching have been encouraging. I always hoped he would reach this point and not end up being shown the door by those fans who voted with their feet and voices. Hopefully, he’ll be all smiles by the season’s end.

Meadow Lane Revamped: Notts County Unveils Premier League-Standard Pitch
This news about Meadow Lane is brilliant! We've needed these upgrades for years, especially a new drainage system to avoid waterlogging. Matt Hallam's team worked miracles under difficult conditions, and their hard work has definitely paid off. This investment is not just about improving the pitch but about bringing our club closer to the top tier of football excellence. It shows the club’s ambition and sets a strong foundation for future success. Thanks to everyone who made this happen!

Willie Carlin RIP
Such sad news. Willie Carlin was a fantastic player and always gave his best. RIP Willie.

Match Discussion: Game 38 - The Red Devils (A)
I hope Connell Rawlinson isn’t in the starting line-up; he tends to make errors. While I value his dedication to Notts, I’m not convinced he’s up to par anymore. I’ve felt this way even before last Saturday. I mean no ill will, as I’m sure he does his best, but we need stronger players. Our current form should motivate all players to prove their worth for a starting spot. This suggests we could recruit better talent. When Notts concedes goals, it often dampens the team’s spirit, and it’s hard to predict the outcome from there. We seldom show the resilience needed to bounce back. I’d suggest Adam Chicksen for centre back since he hasn’t been effective on the wing and might benefit from a more defined role to regain his place in the starting eleven. Apart from that, I’d keep the team mostly unchanged and work through the errors.

How Grateful Us Lads Are’: Sam Austin’s Heartfelt Thanks to Notts County Fans
Sam Austin stepping up to acknowledge the fans in such a heartfelt manner is precisely why this club feels like family. It isn't just about the 90 minutes on the pitch; it's about the ongoing support, the shared highs and lows, and the collective drive towards success. His adaptability across positions showcases his commitment to the team's cause, something that we, as fans, replicate in our support from the stands. Let's rally behind Austin and the squad for the challenges ahead!

From Applause to Disapproval: The Shift in Meadow Lane’s Atmosphere
thommo commented on TheSkipper's blog entry in Black and White Memories: Nostalgia for Notts County Fans with TheSkipperThe comparison between the current state of affairs and the Fullarton era really puts things into perspective. It's a reminder of how far we've come and the obstacles we’ve overcome. Yes, the situation isn’t ideal, but turning our dissatisfaction into boos only adds to the pressure on our players. They need us now more than ever. Let’s channel our energies into positive support and help reignite the spirit of Meadow Lane. We’ve weathered storms before; we can do it again together.

Loan Players Good Or Bad Idea?
Loved seeing Grealish and McGregor play for Notts. It's those kind of loans that make me support the idea, despite the downsides.

Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Railwaymen (H)
Crewe will pose a challenge, but the last time we faced them in a cup game earlier in the season, we didn’t field our full squad. This could give us some unexpected advantages. I’m unsure if they fielded a strong squad, but on paper, I like our chances, especially with the match being at Meadow Lane.

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Exiles (A)
Newport is a tough away game. They’re strong on their home ground, and currently, most League Two teams could likely beat us. Our morale seems low with little sign of improvement. An early goal and a strong performance would be ideal, but it seems unlikely.
-
Match Discussion: Game 32 - The Gills (H)
Notts’ performance declined after Gillingham’s equaliser. I think Gillingham’s push for a second goal, and then a third, either before half-time or soon after, shocked the players. We left everything too late and missed our best chances to make a real contest of it. I’m somewhat disappointed with the squad overall, but it’s hard to single out individual players when I know they’re trying.

Notts County Embraces Change: Stuart Maynard Steps into the Spotlight
Solid in defence and creative in attack, Stuart's vision could be just what the Magpies need. Can't wait for the next match!

James Sanderson
He’s a brilliant young talent. I hope we integrate him more into the team. Gradually introducing him into games as a substitute would be a good start. From what I’ve seen, he seems ready for football, so I hope we give him that platform without hastily sending him out on loan.

Notts County Provides Comprehensive Injury Update on Players
Cheers to the medical team at Notts for all their hard work with the lads! It's no joke dealing with long-term injuries, but sounds like Bajrami’s taking it in stride and Scott’s managing well. It's about more than just physical recovery; it's the mental battle too. Staying positive and keeping at it is the key!

Notts County Celebrates as James Sanderson Signs Professional Contract
Massive congrats to James Sanderson on the professional contract. It’s heartwarming to see a young, hungry player get his chance and truly grab it with both hands. His humility, talent and enthusiasm shout 'Notts County' through and through. The club has done well to recognize and lock down his potential. Here’s hoping he’s the first of many such success stories from our academy ranks.

Notts County’s Future Under New Head Coach Stuart Maynard
Maynard's commitment of three and a half years gives the club some much-needed stability. Looking forward to see how his philosophy translates on the pitch.
