New Chief Executive appointed
Itβs great to hear that the CEO has been appointed. It seems like the Reedtz brothers have made a careful decision, and I believe that Joe Palmerβs mix of experience will be beneficial. I hope he enjoys his role at Notts, as it is a very important one, and I am confident that he will connect with fans in the same way that Jason Turner did. I wish him all the best in his new role.

Where are they now? - Joss Labadie
As for Joss Labadie, itβs all in the past now. I think he should do superbly with Solihull Moors. Heβs a good league midfielder and has plenty of experience, so he should be a great signing for them.

Charlie Slater moves on
Itβs always sad to see someone who has spent several years in and around the club leave, and being a commentator is no exception. His chemistry with Mark Stallard will be missed. I donβt think anything of his decision to pursue his dreams, I wish him well, but I understand that some fans may feel differently. Letβs just try to wish him all the best.

Chicksen thoughts on efl2
Itβs good to see that Adam Chicksen is aware of the challenges that Notts will face in League Two, whilst actively working to improve and adapt to the higher level of competition. The addition of new signings with EFL experience will certainly help the team in their transition to the fourth-tier. Itβs also interesting to hear Chicksenβs thoughts on the increased level of βsmartβ players in higher leagues and how the team must continue to evolve and improve to stay competitive. It seems like Notts County is taking the right steps to ensure their success in League Two, and Iβm excited to see how we will perform this season.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Discusses Player Injuries and Pre-Season Training
I am glad that Luke Williams is strategically pulling out players who are showing signs of strain. It's early days, so best not to risk exacerbating any injuries. Better to miss a few friendly matches than miss pivotal league games.

Southend Utd survive High Court hearing
Good luck to Southend. It must be very stressful for their fans.

Youth Scholars sign deals
I am pleased to see so many young people signing new scholarship deals. Hopefully, the club can make a success of the B team, and in the future, it will pave the way for those players to make it into the first team.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Team's Performance in Pre-Season Friendly
The squad is establishing a level of understanding with the new players. Pairs of players, such as Dan Crowley, are serving as anchors further up the pitch, connecting others into the games. It's looking promising for when we play teams at our own level.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
Much better, I thought the youngsters did well. It was Luther on the left wing in the second half, wasnβt it? He controlled things well but looked like he had no confidence taking players on or crossing the ball. I felt for him. The centre back actually did much better. I was pleased by the performance because Notts looked the better team.

Kyle Cameron on the upcoming season
Great interview by David Jackson. Itβs interesting to see what Kyle Cameron said about recruitment, the badge of pride as the worldβs oldest professional football club, and his thoughts on the upcoming season.

Notts v York City ( Subsequent Red card offence recorded against York City player) 3 match ban
This has slipped my mind; I donβt recall the incident and had to check that it happened at home, which it did. I must have seen it at the time. I wonder if it was Notts who captured the incident or a fan. Iβve been looking for footage, but to no avail.

Sochaux head for bankruptcy
Iβve heard that itβs very common for teams at that level not to even pay their players. According to their wiki, they donβt have a very large squad. I do hope they manage to overcome this issue.

Fancy a photo with Connell or Macca?
I didnβt go, but I would be interested to know if anyone else did. Poor Macca always seems to get roped into all the meet and greets.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
If Luke Williams can get a good response following the Stoke City game and get the players to improve their concentration, I hope those fans who were disappointed with the Stoke City result donβt go to the other extreme, especially if Notts manages to win. We have to keep in mind how much money has been spent this past season just to survive the relegation drop from the Premier League. Win, lose or draw, I just want everyone to enjoy it. Let the players have their moment against Forest and donβt call out players during the game.

Drinks at Meadow Lane
All lagers taste unpleasant, as they are not real beer after all. A better selection and quicker staff would be a positive move forward. If payments were contactless, it might speed things up further.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Potters (H)
From our point of view, Notts made it very easy for Stoke City, and the number of mistakes, even in a friendly, was alarming. However, itβs not the end of the world. I donβt see those errors happening as frequently against players closer to our own level. Just imagine how other teams felt when we played them last season; itβs virtually the same effect.

Archie Mair joins Gateshead
Good luck to Archie. I think he will be a superb signing for Gateshead.
