  1. What a delightful and amusing tweet! Best wishes to them as they compete in the cup.
  2. Sooner or later, a team will give Notts a challenging match at Meadow Lane. In my opinion, Grimsby has been the strongest team to face us at home so far. I don’t anticipate Forest Green Rovers posing much of a threat; if we start off strong, I’d feel quite confident. If I were a supporter of theirs, I’d be hoping for a draw, which I believe would be a favourable outcome for them. Ultimately, the team that creates the opportunities will need to capitalise on them to gain anything from the match.
  3. That’s an exceptionally well-executed goal. I can’t imagine anyone not being impressed by it. It’s a refreshing change from the mundane long ball that bypasses everyone and ultimately gets slotted away.
  4. The appointment seems promising, but I’m particularly intrigued about Neil Warnock’s next move.
  5. Welcome @Ryan Raynor and hello to PON.
  6. Welcome @Benji and hello to PON.
  7. Welcome @Morten Johansen and hello to PON.
  8. Welcome @Laura Griffin and hello to PON.
  9. It’s not just about the love for the game but the community around it. Taken through a journey of emotional peaks and troughs, Adam's story is a reminder of why we love Notts. This connection transcends the game; it’s much deeper and much more personal.
  10. Notts began the match with a strong attacking approach, displaying an impressive performance right from the start. Each player executed their role excellently, contributing to the team's overall success. It was particularly satisfying to witness our players emerge victorious in their individual battles, even in the face of Salford's height advantage. Had some of the early passing moves been successfully executed, I believe Salford could have been systematically dismantled and left thoroughly embarrassed.
  11. With September now upon us, we have reached a crucial juncture where we can expect to witness an increase in managerial changes. The upcoming two months are likely to see a surge in the number of managers being dismissed from their positions. This period marks a turning point where the snowball effect of managerial sackings will become more pronounced.
  12. Langstaff missing a goal or two is fine. He always puts in a shift.
  13. Satisfying to see such a robust synergy among the lads. The camaraderie indisputably fuels their performances.
  14. I am not particularly concerned; it is simply good to have the additional support. Luke Williams will provide the loaned players with an opportunity, and at present, we do not require their services despite the fans’ demands. I am one of those fans, so I am not being overly critical. Connell Rawlinson is more than capable of performing well, but we now have the option of using younger players. We shall see what happens.
  15. He is one of the few young players who had the opportunity to succeed, but I believe he was not prepared for League One football. It would have been better for him to be loaned out to a National League team, then to League Two before being introduced into our team. It is hard to believe that he is only 29 years old. I wish him the best of luck.
  16. Notts is truly making a statement this season with consistent brilliant performances, most recently against Accrington Stanley. Full credit to Williams and his squad. The team’s resilience, even when facing a tough opposition, was on full display. Heartily looking forward to seeing what’s next for us. Onwards and upwards!
  17. The best thing about Jodi Jones being called up is how he tends to come back from his international duties. He always seems to be more up for games.
  18. The Queen song, “Another One Bites the Dust” comes to mind. He won’t be the last manager to go before we are 10 games in. Football isn’t known for giving managers time to turn things around. If they do, it can prove to be more costly. Look at us with Kevin Nolan, then the appointment of Harry Kewell. For me, Kewell is on par with Jamie Fullerton as being the worst manager we have had for decades.
  19. A warm welcome to the Pride of Nottingham @Gary Adamson! We’re delighted to have you join us.
  20. A warm welcome @Andrew Edwards to the Pride of Nottingham! We’re delighted to have you join us.
  21. Rawlinson's goal was simply fantastic! He showed great composure and skill to make it happen. It's clear that he has a lot to offer to the team, and his performance against Tranmere Rovers was proof of that. I'm excited to see what the rest of the season holds for Notts. With players like Rawlinson contributing, there's no doubt that the team has a bright future ahead.
  22. Stellar performance from our lads tonight! McGoldrick's early goal really set the pace for the match.
  23. The live discussions are a very good idea. We, as a community, just need to support them. I will try to add one or two comments during a game. They might not be all that long in length, but I will try to make sure they add to the discussion and are of quality.
  24. It’s good to know that Jodi Jones has been credited with the goal. It’s not for me to say if it’s deserved or not. I’m just happy that he has been given the goal to his tally.
  25. Hello, @Sir Magpie. Welcome to PON. It's good to have you here, as @Joshua mentions we are a friendly group of Notts fans.
