  1. He looks like a weaker imitation of Jack Grealish. I do think the pair share an uncanny resemblance. I don’t think Grealish would be bothered about the comparison. Jota Silva is a decent player, but I think Grealish is far better. I don’t get all the fuss over the off-topic comments. It sounds like effort was made to encourage people to respond.
  2. Tranmere will want to start their season well, and being at home, I suspect they will work hard to make it a tough test. I will be interested to see how we start and if we can get going early. I think there will be some nerves for both teams, and that’s perfectly normal. Our key players should be Dan Crowley and Jodi Jones to supply the chances. I wouldn’t doubt Sam Austin making it to the starting lineup; he injects a lot of energy going forward. Though I do suspect Jatta and Cedwyn Scott.
  3. “The Lambs” doesn’t quite hit the mark as a club nickname. With the alteration in kit colours and other clubs carving out their own identities, it seemed logical to transition to “The Magpies”.
  4. Your post touched me deeply @ARLukomski. I can see how much thought and emotion you’ve put into your YouTube channel. It's completely normal to feel burnout, especially when you're putting so much of yourself out there. I agree with what others have mentioned about taking a break. Maybe a hiatus is what's needed for you to find that spark again. You might come back with a fresh perspective and renewed energy. Remember, it's not about the quantity, but the quality and authenticity of your content. Your fans appreciate your genuine approach, and that’s what makes your channel special.
  5. @Super_Danny_Allsopp This situation reminds me of what often happened to players before the Reedtz brothers took over. I’m surprised because I thought he was a talented player with an impressive cross. His move to Chester seemed to be about wanting stability. I can’t speculate on why it hasn’t worked out, but I wonder if injuries have played a part.

  8. This is one of the superior away matches for a pre-season friendly. It’s going to be a fantastic journey for both the fans and the club. Ideally, this match will serve as a means to restore unity under the extraordinary game. We don’t get a match like this every season, so if you’re able to attend, savour the experience.
  9. When I first began watching football, there weren’t any substitutes. The teams were smaller, not like the large squads we see today. However, as the sport evolves, so do the rules. I believe this progression is logical. In my opinion, there should be a maximum of five skilled substitutes, and never more than that.
  10. He’s now part of the transfer group that includes Joel Taylor and Kairo Mitchell. Despite the fee paid, he didn’t deliver much or have any luck. It seems a bit unfair on Taylor, who appeared to be a good player but just couldn’t surpass Adam Chicksen. Will Randall didn’t live up to the expectations that accompanied his arrival.
  11. With two key players from Crawley’s team that won promotion, this signing should bring optimism. But I understand what others are saying. A similar situation could occur with Notts if/when we achieve promotion to League One. It’s part of football, but I wish Crawley all the best with their rebuilding efforts and take this moment to welcome Kellan Gordon to Notts.
  12. I’ve come to terms with Macaulay Langstaff’s departure and there’s no use dwelling on it. I wish him all the best and hope he scores frequently for Millwall. I hope their fans appreciate his contributions. Many players move on when the time is right, and it was his time. He’s accomplished more in his seasons here than some who have been around for many seasons.
  13. It will be interesting to see which trialists stand out against a League One team. The outcome and performance aren’t as important as gaining insights to ensure the squad is ready for the upcoming season. Doing well in friendlies is a bonus, but not a necessity.
  14. Eastleigh have secured a great signing with Richard Brindley. He’s expected to perform well for them.
