  1. It's hard to feel disappointed with how many injuries Notts have, if the club was to lose to Chesterfield. I think they will want a win a match like today, so they might play better than normal. Who knows? I can see them winning 2-1.

    BREXIT.....

I'm looking forward to the day it isn't mentioned, the whole thing could have been handled better.
  3. @BromPie I think a loss would put pressure on the Chesterfield game, Notts never seems to do well in those type of matches but a win here first could help.
  4. No idea tbh, I think on our best day Notts would do well against a team like them. Thing is we need everyone at their very best now, a win is important to push on. I hope Cal Roberts is a boost for everyone.
  5. If they work hard and play for a good result, i am confident. We have looked decent at home so far in 2020, this standard needs to be maintained.
  6. Notts played as per usual, well in spells. I thought Kristian Dennis did well to come back into the squad, Sam Osborne did okay too. No idea on the attendance but it was more than I expected.
  7. Neal Ardley will rotate the squad and save some of them for the league, I'm not sure any if they perform well enough will keep his eye. He seems to know his own starting 11.
  8. It felt good to annoy Bromley, their players seem about the standard of this league. All thinking they're special.
  9. How would I be able to start a blog on PON?
  10. I don't think Notts looked like they would score today, there was glimpses of good stuff but many of the players just seemed content to pass the ball. Nobody really digged deep enough. I think we are somewhat lucky to leave with a point, considering two of their efforts. One of which was cleared off the line!
  11. I am looking forward to the game, it will have a good vibe I think. I'm not getting carried away by beating Halifax, but that said I do think we should do well. A draw wouldn't be the worst case scenario but winning at home is something the players should strive for.
  12. I think the signings have been very good, but his management style doesn't seem the best for motivating players to do well or to come in and fight for a starting place. I want Neal Ardley to succeed, he has the ability but when he replaces one player and shoves the other out of the door. It just seems like we might be doing what Mansfield did, they signed a lot of players and hoped it would come good. In the end they appointed someone who stuck with the team and they got promoted.
  13. I'm fearing another defeat, everything seems negative and I don't think Neal Ardley will make changes. If Sam Osborne doesn't start after he won the Chesterfield game, it will just lead to people wanting him out. He needs to get a response from the players.
  14. I do think Notts are in better shape than I had imagined, I do wonder if some more attacking minded would do better with the pressure caused by switching off at the back.
  15. I thought Notts would have tried to prove a point but it was disappointing. The result could have been different had some of our players took their chances. Too many are switching off all the time.
  16. I am hoping that Notts keeps a clean sheet and wins the game 2-0. I would go for Wes Thomas and Enzio to grab the goals.
  17. The club mishandled how they pushed Matt's depression out onto the fans, I don't think it should have been done and seemed at the time something quite dumb. I think Matt does well to open up, I can't imagine how hard it is but it seems like he might think his depression is connected without saying it. Some fans need to look at themselves when it comes to what they write, say or tweet.
  18. Good grafting win by Notts, thought the game was controlled well with some excellent build up play.
  19. I hope Regan Booty goes in for Michael Doyle and Pierce Bird for Sam Graham.
  20. I don't think Notts should be concerned about Bromley previous games, yes they might be tough but if Notts stay grouped I think they could find us to be difficult too.
  21. I don't know what to say about this game, the past few matches have damped my mood and I don't know which Notts squad will turn up on the day.
  22. i hope notts can grab another win, think we have had the best away support in the national league. it could push notts nicely up the table.
  23. Fantastic result and a clean sheet, hope the morale is boosted from the deserved in.
  24. Pierce Bird does seem promising and after taking his chances last season, I feel Notts should be trying establish him as a regular within the first team.
