  1. It’s a good interview and very nice to read. Credit goes to Charlie for making McGoldrick relaxed enough to open up a bit further.
  2. It’s almost like a dream, I admit that. What a superb four years we have had, where the focus has been on accountability and improvements. The way the club used its time in the National League has undoubtedly helped us move forward.
  3. James Maddison has made a fine gesture. It’s a very kind thing for him to do for his former teammate and friend. Jodi must be delighted with this and the Notts lads that went to support him must be too.

  5. Any player to come through the Arsenal system has something special. We just need to make sure we see it and get it in his performances on a regular basis. Welcome to Meadow Lane, Dan Crowley.
  6. This seems like one great addition to the squad and the long term replacement for Ruben Rodrigues.
  7. Happy Birthday, @Fan of Big Tone. Have a wonderful day.
  8. I am surprised to see Cal Roberts drop to the National League North, but Scunthorpe United should look after him. I wish him the very best.
  9. He said, via Twitter that the deal had been completed awhile ago. I would be amused if it was before the Stockport County rumours started, Notts should announce them when it's finalised. It's better for the fans, but great to have Kyle extend his stay
  10. I am certain that I won’t have my opinions and thoughts shot down. I am just mindful, I suppose. Everyone perceives things differently, which creates contrast.
  11. I used to be a lurker and have read a lot. The community seemed very inviting even before I joined. I must admit, I was put off by the idea of joining in because I don't like confrontation. However, I took the plunge and it's been very enjoyable so far. I post to what I see, maybe 2 or 3 times. When time permits, I try to visit the site a few times per day. The articles are what drew me to the site; they are very well written.
  12. Hello, are you a Notts fan? Did you get to Wembley? Welcome to PON, @rhodship66.
  13. Jim may be in the twilight of his career, but he still plays an effective role within the squad. His ability to play out wide gives us options when needed. Offering him a one-year contract is exactly what I thought we would do. I am glad he decided to stay with us and continue playing, instead of focusing on coaching.
  14. Whoever takes over the position will not have much time to get to grips with the job. Thankfully, the club operates quite effectively, which should make the transition easier.
  15. Well, he has been caught. He is not a British national and has a history of mental health issues. While this is no excuse, individuals like him need to be identified as a risk. It is easy to say this in hindsight, but it does not excuse his actions. The reporting on the matter did not help.
  16. He may not hold the title of captain, but he is undoubtedly the leader both in the dressing room and on the field. It’s fortunate that he has decided not to retire just yet, as his performance last season was impressive. He even earned several Man of the Match awards.
  17. FC Heidenheim’s rise in German football is an amazing story that deserves to be shared with a wider audience. Underdog stories are always captivating, but this one is truly special. I hope they continue to do well, just like Union Berlin.
  18. He’s truly a kind person who deserves his award and recognition. I believe he will be successful in League Two and score at least 18 goals.
  19. I’m not familiar with him either and I don’t recall seeing his name. I would expect that we are considering players who have had more appearances for their previous teams, particularly at the age of 27.
  20. If someone is banned for betting, then it’s for a good reason. It’s not a very smart decision to make.
  21. I’m not sure if Carlisle released him or if he turned down a new contract. It’s quite surprising because he’s a talented player. I believe he would perform well in League One.
  22. I don’t have any problems with Carl Dickinson. Although he wasn’t the best player, he did have some good moments. I believe he should be a good fit for Bury and I hope they get promoted.
  23. Patrick Thistle Football Club has had its fair share of challenges recently, and we would like to take this opportunity to express our unwavering support and encouragement. May the Jags, as they valiantly strive to overcome adversity, find strength in their endeavours, both on and off the pitch. As supporters and well-wishers of the beautiful game, we stand together with the club, its players, and devoted fans, confident that Patrick Thistle will channel their indomitable spirit en route to achieving even greater successes. From all of us here, we send the team heartfelt good luck and perseverance as they navigate through these tumultuous times.
  24. Kristian Dennis ought to perform admirably for them, as I was quite fond of him during his time here. He seized his opportunities, demonstrated strong work ethic, and I believe he will excel when partnered with Kane Hemmings. With the combination of Kristian Dennis' efforts and his partnership alongside Kane Hemmings, it seems highly likely that their collaboration will prove fruitful in the long run. The dedication and skills that both players bring to the table should undoubtedly enhance their team's overall performance.
  25. It's good here, isn't it @Sirrels County. Welcome from me also.
