  3. It's nice to see that Morecambe FC are starting to rebuild their club by appointing a new Manager. I'm sure that Ashvir will be very busy with trying to rebuild the Morecambe FC squad before their first game at home to Altrincham on Saturday 23rd Aug. Morcambe FC have already had the first three of their National League matches postponed, so they will have some catching up to do. I wish them luck
  4. I do believe that if he is fit Nick should be a regular in the Notts side. I also agree with @Chris that Nick in combination with Will Jarvis on the left wing would be an excellent combination. I do hope that Martin will give Jarvis an opportunity. Nick also used to work well with Jodi on the left wing too. Martin has plenty of options on the left & right wings. Having good players on the flanks is an essential ingredient for opening up defences & I hope Notts make the most of it in the games to follow.
  5. The Pride of Nottingham Man of the match thread is a great vehicle where the fans of Notts can vote for the player that impressed them the most after the match. It is also a good vehicle for the PON community to get together & support & recognise the effort of individual players whether the match result is a win, loss or draw. I think it is important to award a player for his individual performance because i believe that it will help to encourage, motivate & bring lots of positivity to the players & the vast majority of the Notts fanbase.

  15. The poll has now closed. Thanks to all of the 50 members who voted in the poll. We had a close poll this time with Nick Tsaroula & Matt Palmer vying for the top spot, however I'm very pleased to announce that Matt Palmer has been voted the Pride of Nottingham's Man of the Match for his performance against Barrow. Congratulations Matt.
  16. I'm voting for Nick Tsaroula. He's been out of the side with injury, but when he came on as a substitute, he did make a difference during his 34 minutes in the 2nd half, & his excellent cross lead to the Notts goal.
  17. I think that five games without a win will make it very tough for the Head Coach. By that point, even if we get another two draws & two points, it would only be three points in total, & Notts could be twelve points behind the leaders. I think ten games would certainly be too long to change things if the Notts form hasn't improved , because by that time they will be near the bottom & maybe over twenty points behind the leaders. The way things are, & I hope I'm wrong, I think automatic promotion is already out of the question. A playoff place is still possible if we can win our next two games at home which will give lots of confidence to the team. And of course, we need at least three more quality incomings to improve the present squad.
  18. I know fans keep saying it, but this game is a must win for Notts. This is the fourth league game of the season & Notts are already 8 points behind first & second place. I do hope the fans get behind the team on masse & pull them to a win. it's a time for the fan base to encourage & support the players in any way they can. Two wins this week would lift the depression & give a completely different read to the league table as far as Notts is concerned. Of course the players have to play their part too, & there is good news on the horizon. Allasana Jatta will return on Saturday to strengthen the team
