  3. Although it is not universal, a lot of clubs always count the number of season tickets sold when they publish an attendance figure for a League match. This may mean that there is a discrepancy between the actual total & the stated total.

  11. Just a quiet day in today. Nice to see some rain again which I'm sure the garden plants appreciated. Watched a film on ITV X, Die Hard four which I think is the 2nd best film in the franchise behind the first Die Hard. You may have guessed I do like the action movies, which include Die Hard, James Bond, Mission Impossible, Taken & Star Trek. We have seen what appeared to be a large Hornet giving us a visit in our garden today. It was huge around 40 to 50 mm long. They say Asian Hornets can be that big or even bigger. I tried to get a photo of it but it was too quick It's been a very good year for insects what with the Bumblebee nest & lots of spiders around too.
  12. I think that we are very fortunate to have owners in the Reedtz brothers who are very careful financially & keep a tight reign on the the Notts County purse strings. Bringing in players that have the potential to grow by either free transfer & low transfer fees, & then later selling those players for profit is good business & can keep the club financially sound.
