A good workout for the Notts fringe & leading Academy players. The result wasn't important but the performance from the players that are trying to force themselves into the first eleven is Some questions were answered tonight. I think Lucas Ness is worth a start instead of Aljofree. Mai Traoré in my opinion isn't good enough even at fringe player level. Iwunze looks as though he could be useful off the bench with some nice touches when he came on.

Goal to Lincoln. Corner blues again for Notts.

The match is underway

It was on the cards unfortunately when he was missing from tonight's lineup. Another player that didn't appear to be in Martin Paterson's plans.

Big opportunity for Harrison Iwunze tonight.

I think that the right players were available but he Owners were unwilling to pay the price. It does appear to me, although I could be wrong, that most of the transfer profit is going on playing players & Coaches wages

The Notts team to face Lincoln tonight.

David McVay played a handful of games for Lincoln under trial in 1973 before he joined Notts.

Well done Matt. Richly deserved. He's certainly starting to play like the old Matt we know.

It's either skill @super_ram or you are on a great winning streak of luck.

@Piethagoram In hindsight yes, but no-one knew it at the time when he was first signed.

@Wheelbarrow repair man Kasper was just like having an extra outfield player. He was a big reason how we achieved promotion that year.

A very interesting story @Wheelbarrow repair man There are strange superstitions all over the World in different Countries with their different ways & traditions. For instance in China, The biggest superstition in China revolves around the unlucky number four (4), or tetraphobia, due to its pronunciation being very similar to the word for "death" in Cantonese and Mandarin. The number four can be left out of phone numbers, floor levels & product names.
