  1. Absolute scorcher today outside, more cloud but makes it hotter all round I think. Continuing with helping the Mrs giving each room a good clean. Two bedrooms & bathroom done yesterday. Venitian blinds cleaned + windows and surrounds. Blitzing the kitchen this morning. Got all the appliances out to clean behind. Mr Spider wasn't happy. He's having to make his way outside now. Put up a new Venetian blind in the bathroom last night. Unfortunately the old fittings didn't fit, but managed to get the new ones fitted & the blind up. Mrs just loves it now I'm retired.
  2. It goes without saying that Stuart Maynard needs to start with what he thinks will be his strongest side that will begin the League 2 campaign against Tranmere. I hope Matt Palmer can get some valuable match minutes against Boston. I would like to see the striking partnership of Scott and Jatta continue. Jatta already has 3 goals to his name in the preseason games. I believe his name should be first on the play list against Tranmere. Hope young Reynolds is featured in the side once again. Young Jack Hinchy should also start tonight too. I think it is important that Notts give an impressive performance against Boston. They have to aim for a clean sheet, with a few goals scored too.
  3. Your Weather for Tuesday Morning
  4. Welcome @BeestonPie to our friendly PON community. Great to have you onboard.
  5. @Wheelbarrow repair man @Fan of Big Tone Someone has to have the number 9. Why not Jatta? The number nine number is still available and someone has to have it. Why not Jatta? Lots of supporters on social media at the time were mentioning that Macaulay was a number nine that was breaking records. I believe that the number nine shirt is important. So do many Notts supporters
  6. I say give the number nine jersey to Alasana Jatta. He is a worthy recipient to take the converted jersey after Macca's exit. Three goals already in preseason games. He fully deserves to lead the Notts attack.
  7. SILVER MEDAL ALERT MENS 200M FREESTYLE
  8. The Macca saga looks like it's taken another twist if the rumours are true. Don't know why he went to Millwall of all places. They don't even play like Notts do. If he had stayed at Notts and scored a further 30 goals and got Notts promoted, he would have been in league one and a stones throw away from the championship anyway.
  9. SILVER MEDAL ALERT. SLALOM CANOEING.
  10. It's been a beautiful warm day today. Was just the day for some hard work inside Wife wanted some deep cleans done this week so today helped with taking the washable curtains down to wash. My job as been to clean around the windows and clean the Venetian blinds. Four rooms done, just the curtains to put back up, so the wife is pleased. Wood pigeons continue to strengthen their nest in our American Lilac bush. Looks like the eggs are have been laid. Mother sitting in the nest. Time for tea I think.
  11. BRONZE MEDAL ALERT EQUESTRIAN INDIVIDUAL
  12. GOLD ALERT! TOM PIDCOCK BRITISH CYCLING
  13. The weather is forecast to be pretty good this week.
