  1. Weather for Thursday Morning
  2. What a dream move. Good luck to him. Certainly life changing.
  3. Brief highlights of the match between Netherlands & England.
  4. What a great move by Notts to get the Nest up and running for Euro 24. It's definitely going to be rocking on Sunday for the final.
  5. England thoroughly deserved to win this match, they were brilliant in the first half. I'm the second half Netherlands changed tactics and packed the midfield, England more cautious during the second half. Southgate has been criticised for his reluctance to make changes early enough, but it was an inspired choice of substitution by Southgate, putting Watkins on for Kane. Then Watkins produced a bit of magic to turn and shoot across the keeper that went in at the far post in the last minute of the game. So it's Spain v England in the Euro 24 final.
  6. WATKINS!!! Netherlands 1 England 2. 92 mins gone Substitute WATKINS a goal out of nothing. Absolutely brilliant. ENGLAND ARE IN THE EURO 24 FINAL. NETHERLANDS 1 ENGLAND 2
  7. England have become pedestrian. Netherlands are dangerous on the break Netherlands 1 England 1 87 mins gone England have made substitutions Ollie Watkins for Kane.
  8. England more cautious in this half passing from side to side and backwards. The forward & incisive passing has stopped. Netherlands 1 England 1 65 mins gone
  9. Half Time. Netherlands 1 England 1 England have had six attempts on goal and have had most of the possession. Foden hit the post and had a toe poke cleared off the line. Netherlands hit the post too.
  10. Penalty to England, Kane taking it. KANE!! Netherlands 1 England 1 18 mins
  11. Netherlands get the opener as England give the ball away. Netherlands 1 England 0 8 mins gone
  12. So here we go, the waiting is over, the excitement and expectation is building. Can England get to a major international final abroad for the first time? First Half Begins Netherlands 0 England 0
  13. I think the storm has past over, saw the Dutch players ready to come on the pitch to have a kick around. It didn't show them actually going on to the pitch though.
  14. The rain falling off the roof looked as bad as Old Trafford. Wouldn't like to be sitting under that deluge.
  15. England just show one change from the team that faced Switzerland.
  16. @TheSkipper according to reports Junior was impressive against Alfreton, so I would like him to get plenty of game time in these friendlies, because I think he could play a big part in the regular season if given the opportunity. And unfortunately, we have supporters who follow Notts that want to win every single game they play, whether friendly or competitive. They don't care whether it's experimentation by the Manager or not. They just don't understand that concept and will be quick to criticise Stuart if they think it is an inept performance. To them every game should be seriously competitive.
  17. @liampie The Nest will be packed to the rafters tonight for the Netherlands v England match. Hope everyone has a really good time.
  18. England are very capable of scoring a goal against anyone. We have at least 5 World class players & 3 of them can score a goal out of nothing. England have improved in both knockout matches. We know we are going to get some very nervous moments, it wouldn't be England if we didn't. But we also have the players that can change a game off the bench if required, so I really do think England have a great opportunity to get to the final.
