- Matt Palmer for Club Captain? ...edit (Now confirmed)
Now our Club Captain Macaulay Langstaff has gone to Millwall, is it a foregone conclusion that Matt will become Club Captain? I wonder who Notts will choose for Vice Captain if Matt gets the job? Could it go to one of the new players Notts have signed?- Tennis. Brit Watch.
- Macca gone
Start a thread on it mate- Macca gone
Yes Macca has gone, and it's now back to the future now for Notts. I'm sorry he's gone but Notts have an attacking team of Jatta, Scott, Didzy & Morias. We have great attacking midfielders in Crowley & Jones who make and score goals. We have an improved defence , a new goalkeeper and a squad taking shape that can challenge for promotion. Just a few more incomings will complete the good work that has been done in the close season. Now it's time to get behind Stuart and the team and roar is back to League 0ne.- Macaulay Langstaff Heads to Millwall in Landmark Transfer
Gutted that Macca has left us but I am absolutely thrilled for him to have got the chance to play in the second tier. Macca will always be regarded as an icon at Notts, and he will be remembered with fondness by every Notts fan. He is a great footballer and a great guy too. Not only is he a great striker, but his work rate around the pitch is second to none. That's what makes him special. I will be watching him with interest next season and hope he can score 20 goals or more for his new club and help them get promoted to the PL. That would be something, non league to PL in less than four years Thank you Macca and good luck.- Macca to Millwall?
@liampie @DeadlyMacca I agree with your sentiments. Notts have already produced and released a tribute to Macca so they knew this may have been in the works for several days, yet they made him Captain to give the fans the impression he was staying to get those season tickets sold. It doesn't look good for fan relations at all I'm afraid.- Macca to Millwall?
I'm pleased for Macca that he will play in the Championship, and he will always be a Notts icon, and he will be fondly remembered for what he achieved personally while he was at Notts, and what he did in helping Notts get back to where they belong, the football League, but I am a bit disappointed with Notts for how they have handled all of this.- Lucien Mahovo Signs with Norwich City: A Farewell to Notts County
Sorry to see him go. He has huge potential. It is a great move for him and I wish him luck with Norwich City- Tennis. Brit Watch.

This is another strange decision by Notts. A few weeks ago everything was so positive. Now we are letting players go. If a championship Club sees potential in one of our young players, why don't Notts? We need to see some more players coming in. Notts need a large and strong squad to challenge for promotion. We don't know how Palmer and Scott will fare when they both come back from serious injuries. And we might get some more dissapointing news either this evening or tomorrow morning with Macca.- Pre season friendly
Notts have been very quiet about Macca and have allowed the rumour and speculation to continue without attempting to squash it. I expect to see an announcement either this evening or tomorrow morning about Macca. I can't believe that Notts would leave it so long without keeping supporters in the loop. Notts can't leave it right up to the time that they release the team sheet before the friendly tomorrow surely.- Tennis. Brit Watch.

First game of the new season confirmed for Nottingham Panthers.- Monday Motivation
For years my start of the week used to vary because I worked 4 on 4 off, and for the last 7 years before I retired, my working week began on Wednesday and finished on a Sunday. I just loved my work, and even though I had long hours as a HGV delivery driver, it was so rewarding, 99% of the day I was my own boss.- Macca to Millwall?
Notts can control the narrative when he's has 3 years left on his contract. Of course we don't want an unhappy player, but the interests of the club has to come first.- Lewis Hamilton
