- End of an Era: Macaulay Langstaff's Unforgettable Journey at Notts County
Macaulay Langstaff is a special footballer who deserves his chance of playing in the Championship, and who knows, maybe in the Premier League too, before his career ends. Macaulay will always be remembered as an iconic player that came to Notts and broke goalscoring records and became a national figure. I wish him well at his new club and hope they look after him because he is one of those rare footballing gems and all of us at Notts are so sorry to see him go. As for Notts without him, Notts will move on and the fans will get another hero to cheer on. Maybe it will be Jatta or Scott.- Tennis. Brit Watch.

Gutted that Macca has left us but I am absolutely thrilled for him to have got the chance to play in the second tier. Macca will always be regarded as an icon at Notts, and he will be remembered with fondness by every Notts fan. He is a great footballer and a great guy too. Not only is he a great striker, but his work rate around the pitch is second to none. That's what makes him special. I will be watching him with interest next season and hope he can score 20 goals or more for his new club and help them get promoted to the PL. That would be something, non league to PL in less than four years Thank you Macca and good luck.- Lucien Mahovo Signs with Norwich City: A Farewell to Notts County
Sorry to see him go. He has huge potential. It is a great move for him and I wish him luck with Norwich City- Tennis. Brit Watch.

This is another strange decision by Notts. A few weeks ago everything was so positive. Now we are letting players go. If a championship Club sees potential in one of our young players, why don't Notts? We need to see some more players coming in. Notts need a large and strong squad to challenge for promotion. We don't know how Palmer and Scott will fare when they both come back from serious injuries. And we might get some more dissapointing news either this evening or tomorrow morning with Macca.- Tennis. A really nice article @Chris and time doesn't make it less so. I feel I've got to know you better after reading it. That's why I enjoy reading some of the posts from PONs past. These Articles are timeless and shouldn't be hidden away in the past.- Notts County - 1862
Very nice article @super_ramArticles like these are timeless and are just as relevant now as I write, as they were when you wrote this excellent piece.. It wouldn't hurt if you republished this on PON for new members to read.????Important Information
