@AmericanPie I think Stuart will get Notts playing much better as a team all over the pitch, like midfield players tracking back and other players covering holes created when defenders maraud forward.

I also think it's interesting that Wealdstone have conceded 36 goals against in comparison to Chesterfield's 34 against and Chesterfield are running away with the national league. So Stuart does can organise the defense of a team.

Great analysis this. I'm sure that Stuart will be working on strengthening our defence by small tactical changes & modifying the shape when going forward to avoid being exploited on the break. The conundrum will be, balancing our threat in attack, & not losing that potency, with reducing our defensive frailties. Toms analysis demonstrates how this could be done.
