Good morning, it’s very windy here but dry at the moment. I imagine all Notts fans are feeling good today, I pre recorded the match because I was out, then I watched when I got home, I didn’t get to bed till after midnight but it was worth it. I’ll put my thoughts on the matchday thread but what a great result. Have a great day everyone.

I used to walk under the pedestrian bridge on the right every morning to go to school which was on London Road, I remember there’d always be a swarm of midges in summer and we had to hold our breath before going through what seemed like a tunnel to me then.

That sounds really good @Robbie I wish our doctor did that, I think I had one MoT when I was 60 but nothing since.

I can’t be at the match tonight because it coincides with my monthly support meeting which I volunteer for, I won’t be home until 9.30pm so I’ve set up the telly to record the match on Sky and I’ll avoid the score and watch “as live” when I get back. I hope it’s a great match and those going have an enjoyable time.

I’ve got a painful forearm at the moment, which is making it difficult being on a computer, iPad etc., I think it’s just a bit of repetitive strain injury or I’ve strain the tendons gardening or something, the worst thing is I have to lift my pint with my left had which I’m not used to. ????

That’s an excellent article thanks for sharing @Robbie, I’ve said on here before that Forest success is not necessarily a bad thing for us. I sat next to a chap on Sunday who said he didn’t follow any particular club but he liked football, he said he couldn’t get a ticket for Forest so came to Notts and he was very impressed with the ground and facilities. I’m sure there’ll be many more “floating” fans who are in the same boat (pun intended).

@Joshua I wasn’t thinking of reporting it myself or suggesting anyone else should do so, as you say it’s a matter for the club if they want to do that.

Don’t you have to have a licence from the council to sell stuff on the street, has the stand outside the Navigation got a licence? If not I would have thought that a phone call to whatever department deals with it would stop them. (Trading Standards?)

A good win for the ladies and it’s good to see them make Coronation Park, Eastwood their home ground, it’s a nice ground.

You would hope that no professional footballer would deliberately want to break someone’s leg so I think it’s a bit subjective, if a player makes a mis timed tackled and accidentally breaks a players leg then should he be banned for a long time? I’m not sure.
