I think the blame for last night defeat lies with Robertson, he’s been great but he has a lot to learn, the two yellows were completely needless the ref had no option but to send him off. The first yellow was for time wasting by throwing the ball away, he should have known he’d get booked so why do it just to waste a few seconds, the the second yellow he pulled a player back which the ref spotted another yellow. Had he not been sent off they had every chance of getting something from the game.

The results are very disappointing to say the least, are we really safe from relegation? I really hope we are and that we can find a win from somewhere to get our confidence back, should Maynard be sacked? In my opinion it would be the wrong decision now, let’s see how things are at the end of the season, last night I thought we were unlucky and had we had 11 players on the pitch we could have won. Keep the faith.

The first yellow card for Robertson was really silly on his part, he threw the ball away. If he hadn’t got a red card who knows we might have won. Slocombe had a great game.

It’ll be like a new signing when Matty is fit to play again, I can’t wait.

I agree it’s very important to try to create a community feel and to look out for each other, the more we get to know each other the less likely there is to be disagreements and upsets such as you see on other online forums and social media in general. I’ve always tried to generate posts that are more general topics like “weekend chat” etc., it helps to create a feeling of community, although this forum is primarily about football related stuff there is still room to chat about other things that bring us closer together.

I couldn’t understand why he didn’t bring Jatta on in a game that was crying out for a different approach, I think Jatta could have caused a few problems for the Wimbledon defenders and maybe create a few chances. I was pleased that the fans stuck behind the team and I didn’t see any real toxicity at the match, a few moans and some boos at the end of the match but on the whole supportive.

It’s a bit worrying that Stuart Maynard says we aren’t equipped to deal with balls in the box! We can’t go out and sign anyone so if we aren’t equipped we’re stuck with conceding goals. I wonder if he’s thinking just go and attack and hope to score more than the opposition but the goals have dried up too. So what is the answer?

I bet you thought I’d forgot to post this didn’t you? Well actually I did. I’m going to the match this afternoon, grandson George doesn’t want to come because of all the negativity, I fear we’ll lose supporters if it carries on. Tomorrow it’s Mothers Day and our son has invited us for Sunday Lunch along with our daughter in laws mother so we are looking forward to that. Whats everyone else doing/been doing this weekend?
