Good afternoon @Robbie that’s a lot of miles to walk I don’t think my car has recorded that many miles since March last year. Its raining and windy here so we won’t be going far, our grandchildren Chloe and Fred are coming to stay with us for the night while mum and dad have a well deserved rest from them, life can be difficult with teenagers, they’ll be ok with us. We’re doing a sunday roast with all the trimmings later then we’ll settle down with a film or a board game.

This was a tough match and all the team worked really hard to secure the win none more than Bass who put in an excellent performance in goal. It wasn’t a classic match by any stretch of the imagination but we got the 3 point and sometimes you have to win ugly.

@Piethagoram we had a day in Kotor on our cruise, it’s stunningly beautiful. Don’t use your phone though it’s not in the EU so your package data won’t count.

Definitely Bass for me we’d have been at least 2-0 down at half time but for Bass.

This was a typical game of two halves in the first half Notts were very lacklustre and we’re grateful to Bass for keeping the score at 0-0, the second half substitutions made all the difference, Notts were much more positive and had several good chances before Matty Platt managed to put the ball in the net. It wasn’t the best game we’ll see all season but Notts did enough to get the 3 points.

I’m glad he’s back in contention we need as many fit players in the squad as possible, in fairness the defenders and Bass have done well so far this season but they need someone pushing for a place to keep them playing their best. Good morning, it’s matchday and a bit wet and dreary out there, I’ll be going to the match today with Chloe, I’ll be in the Pavis stand well back out of the rain but I think it’s forecast to be dry later anyway. I like Saturdays as there’s lots of footie, later I’ll watch The Football League Show and then Match of the Day.

I only use the reactions “like” etc. sparingly if I really like something or the laughing reaction if I find it funny, I don’t necessarily like everything I agree with and I would hate to think that anyone thought I disliked or disagreed with something because I haven’t liked it. If I strongly disagree I would quote the section I disagreed with and say why I disagree.

If we have a chance at promotion we do need to start winning games at home, this will be a close match but I’m hoping Notts come out on top, we’ll obviously miss Jodie butGordon is doing well. I’d take a nervy 1-0 or 2-1.

@Wheelbarrow repair man I have to admit I don’t read every post on here and I’m sure the other mods don’t either but if you seriously think that someone is being insulting or abusing you in personal messages then you should report it to @Chris or the mods.

Well as I say it’ll be @Chris’s decision so we’ll have to see what others say and what Chris thinks, personally I don’t think an anonymous thumbs down or whatever would do anything to promote harmony, I’d rather put my point across and if people disagree then we agree to disagree amicably, we can’t all agree all the time.

@Robbie I love travelling too but unlike you I have done more since turning 60 before that with a mortgage and kids to feed we never had the money, the furthest we went with the kids was France camping. For my 60th birthday we had a cruise around the western Mediterranean it was supposed to be a one off but we loved it that much we’ve done 14 cruises now, visiting lots of countries including Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Canaries Islands, Malta, Gibraltar, Norway and Sweden. I didn’t fly until I was in my 60s. Having said all that I love visiting places in this country too, Isle of Wight is a favourite, I love Scotland too.

I’m not sure whether a down vote is a good idea it may cause a bit of unrest but I’m sure @Chris will consider it and if he thinks it’s a good idea will make the necessary adjustments, @Wheelbarrow repair man if you disagree with someone’s post surely you can politely say so and tell them why you disagree? That’s what debate is all about, if you put forward your counter argument in a polite way I think everyone here would respect your opinion. Incidentally I’m not sure why you can’t message people there shouldn’t be a problem.

I am hoping that most right thinking fans will be sympathetic to Cedwyn and he will get lots of professional help, I’m glad he’s asked for help it’s very important to admit to yourself that things aren’t right and to seek help.

@super_ram is more of a real ale fan, which I am too but you can like gin as well, as long as they’re not in the same glass.
