We were definitely the better team and with a bit more luck/skill in front of goal we’d have come away with all three points. As it was we have to be satisfied with a draw, there are a lot of positives to take from the game, the new signings all showed signs of why they’ve be signed and once the team have played together for a few games the rewards will come. I still think we need another striker and two if Jatta leaves I’m sure the recruitment team are on it but we know from the past they will be diligent and not rush into anything. All in all I’m confident……..……. we won’t be relegated. 😂

Good morning and happy Sunday, it’s a cloudy start and rain showers are forecast for most of the day. Yesterdays medical emergency at the match against Newport got me thinking about air ambulances and what a great job they do, it’s fantastic they are available for situations like yesterdays. I do hope the fan is ok and they make a full recovery.

Well it’s a point away which is never too bad but with a bit more bite up front we could have had all 3 points. It’s early days but there are some positives to take from this match particularly in the first half when with a bit of luck we’d have gone in winning at least 2-0.

I’m liking what I see so far, with a bit of luck we could be at least 2-0 up, as usual Notts have had lots of possession Newport have hardly threatened. Barry Cotter is looking like a threat.Grant hit the crossbar early on and Cotter saw a good free kick saved down to the keepers left. I think we can win this match, Notts have had 10 shots with 2 on target, Newport 1 shot with 0 on target. Come on Notts.

The match will commence at an agreed time to give the players time to warm up when the helicopters have departed.

There’s a delay to the kick off because of a medical emergency, two air ambulances have landed on the pitch. Very worrying, I hope everyone stays safe and a full recovery is made. 🙏

As others have said personally I would try and get him to sign a new contract if he doesn’t want to sign then sell him, it would be disappointing to lose him but worse if he goes for nowt.

This song is very much like The Rolling Stones, when it came out a lot of people thought it was the Stones the lead singer sounds just like Jagger but it’s by a band called Broken English (which incidentally is the name of a song by Marianne Faithfull Jaggers one time girl friend, coincidence?)
