  1. cant help but feel we just need to focus and takes things as they come.
  2. some fans will be vocal about getting some sort of lower league ronaldo but i think we might have develop or coach a player into being a goalscorer so i would agree.
  3. i have to agree with @upthepies that its nice to see him speak so fondly of the fans, tho i think people should try harder to encourage all the players not just those who do well. we might be a better team on the pitch without the abuse!
  4. we want to see notts competing with the top half, so i hope other players think about how to do it and focus on when it does not go to plan.
  5. sounds like he missed out on signing for both uniteds but at least he had two enjoyable spells at notts, along with his successful career.
  6. i wonder if the leach would do this if he got is original asking price? shows what he said about debts to be another one of his lies.
  7. hope he gets a good season behind him, i do think he will prove his worth. just hope fans cut him some slack.
  8. part of me does think if things dont go to plan the players will moan about how different other l2 pitches are. but i do think its great to see that the club are trying to improve the standard of the pitch, just the cost for me. i think it could be spent on ways of returning profit, if we struggle or dont play as people hope it wont bring in money. neither would the scoreboard that ah mentioned. i would prefer to see the tbars improved and the service etc.
  9. i dont mind hollis, i thought it sounded like he was capable of working under nolan and he did play his better football under derry imo. just a shame he tends to have weak links around him.
  10. i had totally forgotten about this, glad its all sorted now. at least we should be back here again.
  11. i wonder how low they was the last season but its good news, just hope we sell a fair amount more. it would be good for the budget!
  12. i agree chris, stability is important and we should build to challenge strongly rather than just blindly aim for promotion. the recent mumblings and rumoured players makes me think we will just be average. after the way we ended last season i know we can do better. realistic steps and just to push forward would be nice overall. i dont expect us to go up as champions but neither do i want to see the club settle for play offs.
  13. hopefully we can build a proper ladies that fans will respect and appreciate. it was fine when they succeeded but i think some people have been disgraceful since they folded. well done alan!
  14. he looks like steve-o from jackass. i liked his interview tho, he seems well spoken, thoughtful and a decent guy. it would be nice to see him continue his previous success.
  15. lets hope we can. seems ideal that jg worked under grant.
  16. it would be nice to keep him but even if forest do themselves it does not mean we wont be able to get him back on loan. hope for the best really.
  17. juventus are flying high at the minute, they have sold and reinvested very wisely and the team spirit is very impressive. i would not bet against them winning the treble this season. they seem to win everything when the form is this good and i read the other night that its been ages since they lost at their ground in the league.
  18. nice read wey.
  19. makes no sense to play at their ground, how much would they make from such a tie? move it to meadow lane.
  20. we know we need a mixed squad with fresh legs and experience, the right players can make a world of a difference. we just need to make sure we can talk them into signing.
  21. the thing is we voted that we did not want to be a part of the cup, so he decides to ignore them just because the bigger clubs wave some money in front of the smaller teams? if that is not ignoring people i dont know what is. i understand his point about the chance of additional bonuses but we would have to win games right? secondly at what cost in operation fees. huge mistake for me, im not happy but will accept it.
