I might be taking after @super_ramΒ more and more, or it could just be the fact I'm getting older, but some adverts really do ANNOY the hell out of me. Most I don't think twice about, others are fun, amusing and interesting. Yet this one makes me watch to break the screen of the device playing the advert.
It's god damn annoying.
What ads do you have a strong disliking for?
MOMENTS before kick-off Notts Countyβs last home match at Meadow Lane, Michael Doyle emerged from the tunnel lugging the FA Cup.
Applause was muted. Though part of celebrations to mark the 125th anniversary of Notts Countyβs only victory in the competition, the parade was tantamount to a sick joke β like showing a tramp a picture of his long-dead grandfatherβs sprawling manor.
Even Doyle looked sheepish, painfully aware that the sight of a County skipper toting silverware was deeply incongruous.
This, after all, is a club at deathβs door, an institution of 157 yearsβ standing now propping up a league it helped to found in 1888.

There are a lot of custom changes with PON, it should all be resolved by the end of the day. Please do continue using the site as you would normally.

Dear Members/Visitors,
As you may have noticed recently our website has proudly opened a store which is focusing on selling quality Notts County prints.
We have a wide range alreadyΒ from legends, heroes and icons,Β to current players and artistic designs.
The prints have been received very well and the stock pile brought to cover until the New Year is moving nicely, I would just like to draw every bodies attention to the latest releases and of course all the various prints we have to offer. All single prints cost Β£15 and offer free UK delivery, we also offer a grouped purchase for Jimmy Sirrel and Jack Wheeler legend prints which you can snap up whilst stocks last at Β£25 for the pair.
All prints are A3 size, however at some point we may offer alternatives sizes.
With Christmas coming up the PON store has been stocked piled with each print to save time on the delivery, so there are a wide range of prints already available despite these being new. You must be a member to complete a purchase but all details are saved securely and with any site these days, it's just part of the way the process is handled. Orders are completed with payment via PayPal.
You do not require a PayPal account as the service allows for the fees to be paid via credit or debit cards.
To guarantee Christmas delivery all orders must be made by the 17th of December (UK deliveries).
I will offer fans overseas a chance to make a purchase, however this comes at an additional cost for the shipping and members must message me directly via [email protected] or via PM here.
It's important full names and addresses are provided, this will ensure the prints are dispatched ASAP.
Order whilst stocks last. You Pies!

So the time has come come for the lads to start fighting because it maybe there jobs but itβs our passion our lane our magpies. Today is another example of things not clicking in to place. Yet again we conceive 3 goals and play awfull. With just over 10 games left they need some thing it would be a shame for this club to be none league. If nots go down it not only the playersΒ who will loose thereΒ jobs but what about the staff ticket officeΒ bar staff and the chefs and people who need the job to surviveΒ financially. Letβs not forget about loyal fans people who have been fans for 50 40 30 years and the volunteers who help Notts day to day for no wages but for the love of Notts. If they donβt find some thing theyΒ Β flushΒ theΒ history of notts down the toilet the work of jimmy and jack, Derick Pavis even players such as Tommy Johnson Mark Draper and steve cherry and other legends thatΒ help build this football club. So this squad have a lot riding on them to survive and remain a league team so lads please I beg you find the spark find that extra burst of energyΒ find that passion do it for the history do it for fans for the legends but most importantly do it for your selfs lads Cause right now you are letting yourselfs And us as fansΒ down to.Β

I have to admit I am someone who prefers a simple 4-4-2 (when it makes sense).
However, I think the formation didn't work previously because we didn'tΒ have the players who suited it. I don't understand why Neal Ardley abandoned it after signing Michael Doyle and Jim O'Brien.
Right now Notts
Often it seems like the teams lacking the creativity to move the ball productively, I realise most fans don'tΒ seem to rate David Vaughan but I feel he would be perfect to be the distributorΒ within the midfield along side the two biggest signings from the January window. The formation would allow for Enzio Boldewijn to either partner Kane Hemmings/Jon Stead or he could slot into the wing back positions (however here he would need to mark and get tighter).
I just feel the current formation is very flat and not one which suites the playing style, either Ardley amends his tactics or he switches the formation suite the passing style he's trying to get the squad to master.
I'm not sure many games will be won under the current method, so I can understand why some fans have given up and have accepted relegation.

The plus is how the form under Neal Ardley has improved, it's looking somewhat optamistic now but if Macclesfield scrap any good results it will make things harder. Great result though, long due too.
2 hours ago, DangerousSausage said:Very commanding performance yesterday. Obviously an early goal really settles everyone down and the onus is on the opposition to respond, which they failed to do.Β By the time Stevenage woke up we were already 2 goals up. Great stuff

We are in with a chance. If we pick up one more point than Yeovil and Macclesfield over the next six games, we stay up and can put this nightmare behind us.
Finally something to smile about sir hopefully things will carry on looking up for us which is great. Next week is the key though mate. Fingers crossedΒ
Iβm still smiling 28 hoursΒ later ????????????
Based on a mean of 5
SchofieldΒ 6.5 Well protected again, seems to be reading the game better
Toots 7 More for his first half performance, some rusty touches in the second
Stubbs 7.5 Did what he needed to do
Duffy 6.5 Forming a respectful p/ship with Stubbs
Milsom 7 Improved performance, reads the situations much better, wiser use of the ball
Rose 7 More of O'Connor role in stature and winning the ball
O'Brien 8 For opening goal and that pass for the second
Doyle 6.5 still dead balls are too vanilla but put himself about the midfield
Enzio 6.5 One player that can strike a ball...teed up by Stead for the 3rd. Defensive concentration again lapsed at times
Hemmings 7 Wish he had CMS's determination to chase lost causes. Credit for taking his chance for the second
Stead 6.5 Real battle with Cuthbert who the ref seemed to favour. Good set up for Enzio to score
