Notts County announce full pre-season fixtures ahead of League Two campaign

boston, alfreton and shrewsbury are all games i hope to make, obviously i will be at both meadow lane games since they are at home. the shrewsbury and alfreton game will be nice trips, never been to boston but heard they have a decent non league ground.

Nice set of pre-season fixtures; it should be a good run for the lads. I am happy that Nottingham Forest has agreed to come back so soon, as this will be a real test for players provided they field a good squad.

I am not bothered about how the results go; I will be firmly focused on how we perform and even then it’s about getting fitness. It would be a positive thing if Notts can gain some confidence from these games and our promotion; it could be off to the races.

Shrewsbury away will be a nice game to attend; it’s been a while since Notts has faced them. I think all of the pre-season fixtures look decent enough.

I am glad to see the final few games announced; I was wondering who Notts would face in the final pre-season fixture. I think all should be a good run-out for the players, getting them ready for the new campaign ahead.

The home games are the ones I am more bothered about; it will be good to get a large number of fans down for those games. Create a real atmosphere and show the players that Meadow Lane can be a ground worthy of hosting such teams.

It’s good to know the pre-season fixtures. I wish the club would have them all ready to be announced or, if they must, announce home and away separately instead of slowly filtering them out. It makes it seem like it’s a slow news week.

The home fixtures should bring in some good revenue for the club. As for the away games, they are all nice trips which fans can make the most of their local areas before games. York and Boston especially since they have tourist locations.
