austin is just a brilliant player that has waited for his chance to shine, now that he has its hard to see him being dropped from the first team. hes becoming such an important player, both for his goals and performances.

Sam Austin has been in fine form for a while. He deserves his space in the team, and I think he takes the pressure off other players to unlock the play.

Bostock passes to Chicksen, who finds Palmer and then Austin tucks the ball into the back of the net. Simply superb movement!

Pure joy when the first goal went in, each of the three goals got a mighty roar of support and passion from the stands. I thought the atmosphere was quiet for the most part and, I know it comes down to what is displayed on the pitch, but sometimes that extra encouragement helps to surge the players on.

I love how Kyle Cameron and Aden Baldwin come running to the KOP clapping at the start.

Likewise, we had two moments when John Bostock tried to spark that support from the crowd and I do think it makes a difference.

Nemane’s goal was almost comical. It has to be the worst bicycle kick goal that I have ever seen go in. That being said, Notts usually scores good goals and this one was still beautifully created.

The goals were skillfully executed, all three of them, despite Aaron Nemane seeming to forget how to strike a ball while airborne.

Sam Austin certainly enjoys taking a shot at the goal when he has an opportunity, and he's turning out to be an excellent acquisition and potentially one of the season's standout players.
