Which Youth Scholar Has the Most Potential?

Featured Replies

In your opinion, which of these young scholars do you think possesses the most promising potential to succeed in Notts and make a name for themselves in the world of football? Are there any particular qualities or achievements that stand out to you, or any specific examples of their work that you find particularly impressive?

Let’s have a lively and engaging discussion about the future of our youth scholars and the potential they hold for making significant impact in football.

Cisse, Gill, Goodwin, Hazard, Reaney are the players I have read about as being good, either in comments on here or mentioned in match reports. I think Cisse has a real opportunity to further impress Luke Williams and if he’s still the same player floating around on the bench in friendlies and coming on, then it’s a big thing.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

In my opinion, Cisse is by far the most exciting one out of them all. However, we need to be mindful that they are still learning and improving all the time. We shouldn’t put expectations or pressure on a young player’s career. It’s an interesting debate for sure, but I do want to echo these sentiments.

All of the youngsters in the pre-season from the B and academy team have shown some real promise, while I would agree that Cisse looks like a classy player in the making. I felt very impressed when I saw Charlie Gill; he looked like a good youngster for sure.

I think Cisse and Gill looked quality. It’s clear the club has high hopes for Cisse. He looks like he could be given time in League Two and thrive with it. However, I wouldn’t rush him. There must be several of them with high hopes, so I hope we can get the most out of them all.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

It may be premature to delve into this topic, yet the youngsters truly left a lasting impression on me. Those who participated in the Nuneaton friendly during the second half displayed remarkable stability.

Cisse does look classy, he did well against Nuneaton, Stoke and Forest. I think he has a bright future, but I haven't seen enough of many of them.

I will add, I want to support the B team and if anyone here plans to do the same, please let me know, and maybe we can catch up. It would be good to go support the younger lads etc.

A field where dreams become reality.

if i was luke williams, i would have cisse on the bench for most of the games and give him runs out. allow him to get minutes and experience this season, so he can be more useful and a bigger part of the team in the next two seasons after this one.
